  • i love how the father is in the tulip business. i cannot take it seriously because its tulips.

  • @LilMissDiss100 Tulips were rare and exotic, the must-have item of the time. The whole of The Netherlands was mad for the things. The trade collapsed in the 1630s and caused a few merchants to go bankrupt.

  • Ruth is such a sweetie.

  • occult practices in everything...

  • so, Cinderella was a schizophrenic.

  • 2:20 typical RPG monster encounter moment...

  • cute movie! :)

  • i thought Clara's much more beautiful than Iris

  • It is strange that Casper is the one who first puts the idea about the prince into Iris' head. Of course that makes her doubt he has any feelings for her. Such a suggestion from somebody I loved and whom I believed loved me would be very hurting.

  • @MsSilentia i think he was trying to get her to say she loved him without seeming to. all the same if ...someone...said that to me i would probably freak out

  • @SaltwaterAir1

Yes. It seems like a kind of mind-game. He wants to draw her out without giving himself away.

If a litterary hero seems too sweet, you can always make him somewhat manipulating. It has been done before lol

  • how did we end up talking about gay lions here?

  • Please do not start it up again!!!

  • @MsSilentia lol i'm not going to

  • I'm not sure yet what to think of this movie...I have'nt decided who I'm cheering for

  • @tabirocks1989

I think that is a good testimony :-)

Movies or books that never surprises or confuses you are usually not as interesting.

  • @iorixs then I (a "faggot" in your eyes) will see you when we die and end up in that burning pit you speak off because someone who has such hateful and cruel views deserves to be there as well. God Bless darling.

  • @BossyEditorSan

Please leave it! I am sorry I ever indulged that person by gainsaying him. To argue with nasty people is one thing. To argue with a complete maniac is quite pointless though.

  • @MsSilentia Alright. It just...it personally offends me, you know? But I do understand what you are saying.

  • Outer Beauty is one thing. You have to have inner Beauty also.

  • lol at 2:22 - 2:45

    Me first...AHHHHHHH!!

  • From the stepsister's perspective, I can only laugh at cinderella, because all she did was act scared, and sat in the house. It reminds me of my old selfish days...

  • she gets approached by a strange lady every time she leaves the house, and I laugh, because she looks to not be of her age everytime she screams...

  • where is the christianity in this production? holland was a strict christian country once before the scumbags and sodomite mojo faggots took it over

  • @iorixs

    "scumbags and sodomite mojo faggots"

One could also call them human beings, you know. I do not know what country you live in or what laws it has, but in my country it would have been called a Hate-crime to write about a group of human beings as "faggots".

  • @MsSilentia sorry about that. how about poo packing butt munchers

  • @iorixs You seem to be quite obsessed with what other people might be doing in their beds...

Why not getting yourself a life instead of poisoning Youtube?

  • @MsSilentia my father, it turns out, is a raging faggot and he molests his own grandson. everyone knows it. he gets privileges and perks and has money and many friends. i say throw faggots and child molesters into a pit of broken glass. if people engage in homosexual behavior deliberately as an act of defiance against the divine then they should be executed because such evil should not be tolerated in society as it will become custom

  • @iorixs

Sorry for what happened to your nephew. But it does not give you any right to bunch up all homosexual people whith child molesters. Most of child molesters are not homosexual. And most homosexuals are definitely not child molesters.

  • @MsSilentia hawmasexuality is one symptom of a more generalized condition of moral corruption and spiritual dementia. a child who has been hawmasexualy raped is not guilty of faggotry even though he has engaged in sodomy. the person who molested the child however is affected by a condition that is best described as demonic possession. such people deliberately defy God and commit horrors such as bestiality, cannibalism, ritual murder, blood sacrifice, incest, genocide, arrogance, abortion etc

  • @iorixs Oh dear...

  • @iorixs You do know that there are child molesters who are men but molest girls, not just boys, as there are women child molesters too. I have a few gay friends and I can tell you they are definitely not child molesters, and would be very offended by your spewing of bullshit on this video. It could quite possibly be that whoever does an act against a child are being demonically possessed, though I personally believe that is unlikely, but to say that all homosexual people are corrupted is untrue.

  • @doubledouble55 there is no animal that practices sodomy. no creature other than humanity that greases up the anus and stuffs fists, dildos, penis and little animals up it. all creatures defend their young but people abort theirs in abortion clinics or murder them just after birth to cannibalize them. no other creature that has menstrual extraction parties where women use suction to remove blood from the uterus and paint themselves with it while listening to music singing "we are the goddess"

  • @iorixs So you just don't like humans then. I guess it sucks that you are one. Oh and just to let you know, there have been many cases of homosexuality in animals, there are actually many documentaries on the subject.

  • @doubledouble55 documentaries are propaganda meant to corrupt and pervert. if you want truth then turn to God and he will inspire it in you

  • @iorixs Righttt....so I'm guessing a video of two very real adult male lions mating, was just an animation. Even if documentaries are sometimes biest doesn't mean you can ignore what is right in front of you.

  • @doubledouble55 same sex creatures cant mate, they are doing something else. some animals eat their own feces does this mean that it is normal and that people should march in parades of feco-phile pride? pigs roll around in filth, goats eat garbage, rats crawl around in sewers, maggots eat rotten meat, flies swarm around decaying flesh, skunks use foul odors as a weapon, some spiders kill their mates. dont look down into the animal world for role models rather look up to God and his wisdom

  • @iorixs How about you stop flaming this video with your hateful comments and spam and go do something more meaningful for humanity?

  • @doubledouble55

Well, if he does not like to be looked upon as a human being, that is alright by me ;-)

Unfortunately there is no kind of animal I would insult to the point of comparition...

  • @MsSilentia I guess it would be an insult to the animal, I didn't think of it that way, but that wasn't my intention, I was just stating a fact.

  • @doubledouble55

I know. I just could not resist the temptation of sending it. I tried to take him seriously enough to argue with him at start but it is like pricking a balloon full of poisonous gas. Since I am not a psychiatrist and this is not an appropriate forum for such matters I think it better to not encourage him any further.

  • @iorixs Your opinion is bullshit if you cannot even spell what you're trying to insult.

  • @furryordancingflamer God is great and humanity should follow the guidance of its creator and provider. instead people are attracted to the perverse and evil; horror movies, ritual murder, sexual domination, cannibalism, the suffering and humiliation of others etc. dont look to the animal world and the world of people but rather look up to God and seek his loving kindness and wisdom because the life of this world is short but the soul lives on eternaly

  • @iorixs Your prejudice is a beautiful thing to behold.

  • @iorixs I'm afraid you mistake me for a prejudiced moron, my friend.

And my 'god' does protect me. It also doesn't judge anyone, and shelters any who seek it.

  • I ve seen this before I love it because this isn't about fairy tale endings it is life and tells you you can make it what you want

  • Pish posh, Heronimus Bosch ;D

  • how come the normal cinderella had nothing about a creepy witch watching her? and who in the world is she anyway???

  • i dn't uderstand this movie !!

  • @MsTreysongz1 Read the book...

  • @aenople i dnt have the book and i dnt know where to get it !!

  • You know what I see here? I see a mean mother victimizing three daughters, three sisters who are learning to get along, and their father

  • In my opinion I think iris is prettier than Clara

  • i really <3 it

  • cinderella is pretty useless in this movie

  • I absolutely love this movie. Even though most might consider Irish an ugly stepsister, the beauty and intelligence of her character cant help but make you think of her as beautiful, no matter the vast difference between her looks and Clara's. Clara may be physically beautiful, but in the beginning she starts out very ugly character wise. I love the dynamic characters how they all grow and change for the better and are beautiful in their own way.

  • Clara, Iris and Ruth even their mother is beautiful, I dont really choose who is the most beautiful or who is the uglyest they are all beautiful, I do love ruth lol

  • that old guy is a perv.... I know that during this time period age differences like that were common but it's sill nasty....

  • what this shows, is that looks don't matter, Ruth for example, as clumsy as she is, she's inocent and childish personality makes her adorable, Clara is cursed by her phisical beauty, but her character changed a lot, as for Iris, she's intelligent and thinks of others. The three are beautiful, we're all beautiful, but the stepmom is a total bitch, just saying.

  • Hateful how badly a bad parent can effect their children for life. And, finally, the mother is admitting her daughter is pretty. Sad that she's using her. Too bad she won't sell her new gowns. I'm glad that she hasn't talked her husband out of his integrity. Hope that continues. Also too bad he hasn't found her potions. Iris needs to get rid of them. A love built on falseness is no love at all. Love can get you through most anything as long as you trust one another. No $ can buy integrity

  • DONT SCREAM CLARA ITS UR FREAKEN FAIRY GODMOTHER!!!!

  • i think that ruth is rather sweet . just young in her head .

  • Everyone is beautiful STFU just a movie, they make them look that way..its called make up lol

  • the blonde step sister isnt as ugly as they try to make her lol

  • this and ever after are my fave cinderella retellings

  • "We're penniless" "penniless?" "we have no money, impoverished oh...let me see how can I put this...ahhh penniless is good, quite clear" lol. Love when the mother says this

  • Isn't the lady who plays Margaretta the same one who played Rizzo from Grease?

  • @Lazeress98 It is, yes, the actress's name is Stockard Channing.

  • @Lazeress98 yep!

  • @Lazeress98 Stockard Channing yes :)

  • "Me first...AHHHHHH!"

    "Ahhh"

    "Better then mine.."

I love her hallucinational god mum. <3

  • Argh scary fairygodmother! What happened to "bibbity bobbity boo"?? Lol

  • I love this story!!!

  • Clara does have a caring heart.

  • Clara is so sweet and kind!

  • during that time, the ideal beauty are women who have blond hair and blue eyes, that's why clara is considered an extraordinary beauty compared to iris.

  • and that hasn't changed? I mean how many brunette and red headed celebrities to you see these days dying their hair some unnatural yellow color ? Women who were quite beautiful i their original states? I wouldn't say there is much of a difference. The Eurocentric beauty standard is alive and well

  • Agoraphobia. FTW!!

  • I meant *is horrible*. Oh and by the way, this movie is fast pace and all wrong. The acting is still annoying me......

  • Omg the music sucks bananas! The acting us horrible. What a low budget film! I hope they redo this movie

  • "You miss so much Clara, when you look out a window at the world, but don't step into it."

    Excellent line.

  • I think that Iris is a pretty girl, but I think Clara is prettier. They are both pretty, just diffrent types of pretty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • is that pewee herman?i could've of sworn..

  • oh for God's sake. First of all, this is a STORY! second of all, the simple point is no one is ever blameless, that is all this is trying to say. We create our own reality.

  • i think iris is beautiful but clara to and clara is sweet.

  • The stepmother is a fat, self righteous whore. She obviously doesn't want to share the blame for anything going down. And Clara is the mean one? You dim wits are just saying that because she's beautiful and that's reason enough for you not to like her. You're no better than the "real" ugly stepsisters.

  • dude, i don't even think clara is that mean. just misunderstood. iris is put into the "sweet, do-no-wrong protagonist" but i mean when she blind folded clara and left her alone in the dark when she obviously was scared to death of being outside, that wasn't exactly what i'd call a kind-hearted deed. in fact, it was downright mean-spirted and cruel.

maybe i'm looking way to far into this.

  • @vdag94 Perhaps, but then again Clara had just said that she is ugly...

  • i hate the mother.

  • Many of you complain that Iris is prettier then Clara. But we all must remember that Clara in the shape as she is here, reminds the ideal of reneissance beauty (more or less). Just look at the paintings of those times. And Iris is more... modern I'd dare say. That's why in the movie she will be considered as the ugly. I think the cast is great when we put it like that. Anyway, the movie is adorable.

  • @sumiregusa23

This "Iris" chick is NOT prettier than Clara. You are an idiot!

  • @sumiregusa23 I don't get people...clara still looks better : / Iris chin is too pointy, but she is cute looking.

  • @BrownAugust1987 true clara is way prettier.but they are both beautiful.

  • @sumiregusa23 iris is the more adorable of the pair but i do think clara is prettier

  • @sumiregusa23 I disagree. Most paintings of that time had women with more rounded faces then those with angular faces.

  • @sumiregusa23 yes those downturned eyes were quite popular back then for some reason..

  • Fascinating. In speaking of pure aesthetics Clara and Iris are both pretty, but Ruth is plain. However, when it comes to the whole package Ruth's sweet nature makes her the most beautiful with Iris a close second.

  • 1:24. I'm sorry but that was the weirdest reaction...

  • haha "pish posh, Hieronymus Bosch" love the reference to that crazy painter.

  • i find that iris is more beautiful than clara, for some reason idk.

  • Woo she went outside <3 Thanks for uploading :D

  • who is the old lady

  • the queen oh hairy chin gypsies lols she aint that old in the book she can make smoke holes out her ass hole Lols!

  • Ruth is so sweet. i think all the sisters are pretty, not just Clara.

  • I think Ruth is pretty and she is given short shrift for being 'ugly' yet she has an inner beauty.

  • I like the stepmother. She may not be the sweetest woman, but she's clever and practical and it's obvious she DOES care about her daughters. I like that instead of rolling over and waiting for a man to come save her, she's goes out and gets the man. :)

  • but she is so mean

  • @lasyra Indeed, indeed. That's Stockard "Rizzo" Channing for ya! She's a strong woman both onscreen and off.

  • I don't understand the title of this movie. Is Iris supposed to be ugly?

  • Yeah, you know the movie buisness, they can't have an ugly main character, so they take a pretty actress and just call her ugly.

  • I think its more what she's popular for being you know? So we understand what this fractured tale is about.

  • Iris is supposed to be plain yet smart and witty. Ruth in the book never talks and is described to be like an ox. She's also supposed to be slow. The book is a lot darker and Clara (Cinderella) so far is a bitch. (Halfway through the book)

Throughout the story is seems like Iris is narrating but in the end it's Ruth (I skipped ahead) and she says that she understood what was going on more than anyone although she was "slow". Also, remember traditionally they're both the "ugly stepsisters"

  • Why would you ruin the end of the movie for the rest of us?!!! You posted the ending beneath part 5 of 9!

What a jerk! Don't read this comment.

  • Iris has a different type of beautiful i think Clara has tht strong prominent beauty and Iris has the softer features that are warm, Clara is angular and has a pointed face i think they are both very pretty though

  • I like the character Margarethe. Yes, she is not the nicest, most consiteret, or loving one of them all but I love her character @ the end. I will not say wut happens for I dont wanna spoil it, but I think Stockard Channing wuz the best in this movie!!!

  • i know, i always mistake this movie for ever after

  • I think Iris looks a bit like Drew Barrymore...it's probably the chin

  • I thought so too! :)

  • i don't like the stepmother she's all for herself she does'nt ever consider iris wanting to be a artists

  • "Pish posh, Hieronymus Bosch" LOL

  • Clara's dresses look more and more like Cinderella's.... plus the rat...

  • shes supposed to be cinderella...

  • ya well maybe if the mother didn't spend all of his money on a lavish wedding and new dresses for herself they wouldn't be in such trouble...nice going. And who is that lady? Is Clara just seeing things?

  • Who was the woman Clara was talking to/afraid of?

  • i think it's the fairy godmother

  • i like clara's character and she's more beautiful than iris.

  • Who is the strange woman who keeps following Clara and saying "the hour is near"? Is she in the book? I don't recall. Unless she's supposed to be the Queen of the Hairy Chinned Gypsies, but Clara isn't frightened by her and she hardly appears in the book.

  • i havnt read the book.. but i also want to know whooo is that woman??:O

  • o.0 I have no idea who that lady is. She definitely wasn't in the book. I think they added her in since they took out Henrika and the Queen of the Hairy-Chinned Gypsies.

  • That's witch is Trudy Skyler, Sting's wife.

  • I think this movie leaves out alot of important things in terms of tone and storytelling that was in the book. The book was far more dark. This version is a bit simple by comparison. Especially since it doesn't capture the humanity of the mother. Yes she seems cruel but this story is more correct historically. women had no rights, no education, nothing and would do anything to get by, to survive. Clara is simply ignorant to this fact which makes her selfish.

  • your right it leaves out alot of important part...like henrieta and margethe hustlin spirit and dark it gets...and the "changeling" aspect...and the implied "gay" part of casper....

  • Casper is such a hottie-what did they leave out? they really don't give any hint in the movie

  • the rumor of him bein in love with master

  • @MrRadaikon You're right. Margarethe may be fierce and at times loud and rude, but you never forget that she's doing this for her and her daughters always, even when she doesn't do the right thing.

Clara is also not mean enough. She's supposed to be somewhat spiteful, a little bit cruel and cold, quite selfish, but very scared and frustrated inside.

  • i think that person in the street is her mother

  • its definitely not. in the book, her mother is actually alive, but is sick, and soon she dies, which is when magarethe becomes claras stepmother. i read that book, and im not sure who that woman is, i think they tried to tie a bunch of different characters together.

  • yeah you were right

  • That sounds funny... "The tulip market has collapsed, it's financial disaster."...

  • lol! that does sound funny :D

  • i think it's the dead of her mother that made her like that

  • clara has issues thats all

  • 02:29, me first AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

  • I dont get it...Iris is so pretty. Shes adorable <3

  • Geez..Clara has a severe case of agoraphobia!!!

  • the father was totally right... what's-her-name is a bitch!!! ugh!!

  • looks like quich!lol not cake!

  • who is that witch woman? the fairy god mother?

  • why is the mom always a bitch!

  • Yup I agree, they shouldn't call them ugly stepsisters at all even if there is that painting. I wonder why Clara is acting mean instead of them.

  • thats the point

  • I think that Ruth, Iris, and Clara are beautiful. You don't notice Ruth and Iris's beauty till you get more into the story. Beauty grows. You see their beauty shining from inside them.

  • "Pish posh, Hieronymus Bosch!" LOL!

  • Lol..

    Stay away or i'll scream..

    me first.. ARRRGGaH

  • 4 some reason every time that scary lady comes on i think as she mentions the ball and she disaperes fast that shes like a fairy godmother.

  • i think she is cause shes been trying to tell clara about the ball

  • Iris looks like she's from a Botticelli painting.

  • Clara is just a bit emo to handle. Iris is definitely a good counselor for her. Margaret isn't best at nurturing a troubled child.

  • I like the shout out to Hieronymus Bosch by a fellow painter. Clever writers.

  • is it possible that Clara is schizophrenic. since no one seems to see the scary lady & only Clara.

  • I don't think so, because at the beginning, Iris and Ruth talked to the scary lady. So they can actually see her

  • I like Clara's character development, though it only changes towards Iris and Ruth.

  • I can't stand that investor man who keeps making derrogatory remarks about having Clara. If I were Clara's father, I would castrate him.

  • if i were clara i'd probably hit him. or i'd want to.

  • I I were Clara he would be no more. :)

  • oh yeah. i think i'd sue him or something. or do anything i could get away with doing. like dropping him in with hungry crocodiles. maybe.

    <
