Clearly nobody commenting knows how to ski that well. why tear up their choice of the mountain when you can pount out they are on race skis, their upper bodies turn and bounce way too much and their weight is so far back seat. Also the arms are way out to the sides. I dont mean to hate Think of it as constructive criticism
Cool vid, reminds me of the good ol' days. I knew every nook up on the Chin but I still got totally disoriented in a white out blizzard once when I was up there alone years ago. It was that huge snow year (2003/2004?) when all the recognizable rocks were buried. Couldn't see 5 feet in front of me and tracks were getting filled in as fast as I was making them. Thought I went down backside by mistake - scary. Even when you think you have it all figured out it can bite ya when you don't expect it.

The hourglass is relatively easy to find, but you do NOT want to go down it unless you know the mountain. You will get lost out of bounds and get yourself into some serious trouble without someone who really knows the mountain.
i wouldn't be asking these guys how to get to the hourglass because they do not know. this video is of mt mansfield skiing, but the hourglass is never skied in this video. i love it, keep posting these videos of sweet places to ski and they wont be sweet anymore.. i am glad you do not know where you are going, or maybe you are just playing a game with everyone to trick them, yeah.
so cool. Amazing back country terrain. I should have expected this movie to be this good. Your movies show great talent. After seeing this video I have to subscribe to your channel. You have an amazing ability to produce films with unbelivable footage as well as a perfect sound track to follow it. All of your films are a wonderful blend of image and sound.
just wondering- at 2:02, the part you zoomed in on- was that where u skiied down cuz ive been looking to hit hourglass for a while now, just wondering if u had any info on it

don't go if you don't know the area, or bring someone who does know with you. super easy to get lost on your way to hellbrook and get cliffed out.
