I may be a guy but I'm a Rockabilly....I want to give you a Pomade tip...DO NOT use Murray's brand...It is so this that it can block your hair follicles....Eventually making hair fall out. It may have a good hold. But IF YOU DO use it..Peanut Butter usually gets it out.

How do you keep your hair from falling in a high ponytail? My hair is fine, but dense, so it is very heavy. Anytime I put it in a ponytail, it always falls lower immediately, and then even more as the day goes on. It's not even that long anymore, because I donated 12 inches a few months ago. Big thankyou for a different way to do a pompadour (or as we call it in Australia a quiff). I love having my hair in a pompadour but it never ever stays, always separates when I simply twist and push. Love it. You are so awesome Iris!

@hospitalcakewalk Well, I have a place for bobby pins in every room that I would typically take them off. For example, right by my bed, I have a little cup shaped like a heart. In the bathroom, I have another little cup and then in my car, I have a little spot for bobby pins. I empty them out in a central bobby pin location once in a while. I also buy bobby pins every time I go to the drug store, this way I always have tons of them :)
