  • dat does it, where's my kramer

  • In the late 80's early ninties my roommate my roomate wouldn't let me play HS in thr apartment because he said they were "satanic heavy metal." Oh how times have changed!

  • Saw ZZ -TOPP in 1984, these guys were one of the warm up bands.

  • C eh! N eh! D eh!

  • I think I saw these guys play at winterfest in Quebec around 1988. Little hazy-I was in 8th grade and all. I did eventually buy the album. This was by far my favorite song

  • 0:43 - 0:50 = my fav part

  • BRILLIANT!

  • lmao! i love the sloppy intro!!!

  • @mirrorr2 wtf dude... i think the intro is brilliant...! Rest of the song is REGULAR POP stuff...

  • @vukboy it's fucking brilliant indeed!

  • Even the fat guy who takes the football to the head in Wave Babies was there. I think it was him

  • Sudbury, by the way.

  • one of the best hard rock tunes i have ever heard and im not just saying that cause im Canadian lol

  • I got a hi five from every one of them, leaving the stage on this tour.

  • @dakjargen That's pretty sweet! I would have definately been stoked!!! :D

  • @dakjargen Too fucken deadly lol

    What year was that?

  • @KhabukiJo It was about 1989. Frozen Ghost opened for them. Pauper in Paradise was their first song. Kind of a weird tune to open with but I remember it because the bass was thick.

  • another great song

  • cool instruments they already had in that time...

  • i like that guitar with tire marcs on it...

  • THIS IS THE BEST ROCK EVER MADE, GREAT MUSICIANS AND VERY GOOD TASTE WITH TOO MUCH STYLE !

  • i dedicate this song to my little woman in calgary alberta

  • Probably filmed in Niagra . Thay got a whole lot more empty industrial buildings now 25 years later. Great band though

  • Gotta love the fist pumping action of 80's hair bands!!

  • Singer sounds like early Jon Bon Jovi. :D Tho I heard this band way before I became a Jovi fan. >3>

  • Ufff...!! Que pedazo de rola...!!

  • why is it not on itunes????

  • these guys are awesome. going to see them sept 2 2011 in shawville quebec

  • So 80s, love it!

  • dokken was another great one

  • COCK ROCK , a REALLYgreatrepresentastive of what THAT era was EXACTLY musicwise..BANG YER HEAD!!!!!!!!! and BLAZE ONE

  • this band was so underrated! The 80's had the best music any decade had to offer. I don't think it will be like that ever again. Unfortunately, I believe it's because of music sharing like these sites. We all love them, but I believe they are a hindrance to upcoming artists and their willingness to put out great NEW music.

  • Sooooo truuuuuuuuue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OMG.... The memories :) Good times!

  • their playing in terrace bc and im goin whooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • do you have Honeymoon Suite - Burning In Love in HD or HQ 720p version??

  • The three people who disliked this video must have a gun held against there head...

  • ahhh memories.....and you know love does change every thing

  • these guys knew how to rock...80's style

  • HOLY!!! MEMORIES MAN!!! almost makes wanna trade in my IBANEZ for a LADO guitar. (I said almost.)

  • @shadowspawn2000 my ibanez was one of the owrst '80's' guitars I owned and it was a Jem 777 original run number 713 signed by Steve Vai himself. 2 microphonic pickups, basswood body that tremolo moved forward, poor upper neck where it was scallloped….traded it for a custom Jackson …:)

  • @hellish1102 i've actually heard the same thing pretty offten about ibanez being crap. i once played a friend's jem that he was trying to get rid of and i hated it but a little while later found a used DTX-120 destroyer that i was pretty damn happy with, great guitar really. go figure..

  • I am not from Canada but I love Canadian music!!!! I love these guys Glass Tiger and yes Bryan Adams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great song

  • I'm in love!

  • I'm almost sure Johnnie doesn't look like that anymore.

This was the major hit of HS's 3rd album (at least in the US) "Racing After Midnight" in 1988...;)

  • Oh my! Where have you been all my life! :D

  • These guys could've been, and SHOULD'VE been, much more sucessful. Each album had a different feel to it which led to an uncertainty with fanbase. 1st had a somewhat new wave feel, 2nd a progressive pop rock, and finally this one that just had AOR type songs. Each one great in it's own way, though. And, live, it all just meshed together. Can anyone upload the song "Love Fever" ? Without a doubt my fave H-Suite song, and impossible to find anymore....

  • Better than most Canadian rock.

  • what year did this song come out?

  • We'd go see Honeymoon Suite to watch the guitar player. We'd stand at the back of the bar with our arms crossed...critics. We expected Derry to part the Red Sea for us nightly. We demanded it! Derry was a cross between Eddie Van Halen and Michael Schenker. Derry was was probably one of the best rock guitarist alive at the time. Nobody was faster or capable of pulling of tricks, modes, scales, arpegios, hammer on pull offs, trill picking, legatto or stacatto picking.

  • aval on itunes? i got this on vinyl

  • First CD I ever owned was Honeymoon Suite's greatest hits......AWESOME!!!

  • Very under rated. Loved the in High school. Thats how old I am. Enjoy everyday. It goes by quick.

  • Damn I miss 80's music!

  • The first 45 seconds of the song establish that these were great players!

  • Class song!

  • Their best song.

  • Yeah I remember that commercial. I had heard is was Joe Satriani playing the solo. Regardless, I never understood why they didn't just let Derrie Grehan play his own solo. He definately has the chops!

  • What an odd song to get stuck in my head! Oh well. *rocks out*

  • I met the guitarist and hung with him for a bit in Knoxville 86 , they were real nice guys . he was the pepsi comercial guitartist who blew the tops of the Pepsi bottles in the commercial . remember that one ?

  • @NEONAVALON Great commercial. He didn't play the "solo" there, though. It was actually Vinnie Moore, who is now with UFO. Still, it was a cool commercial. I saw these guys at a state fair in about 89-90 and they rocked. Much heavier band in concert, but a great show and tons of great tunes.

  • YES IT DOES

  • These guys were so tight musically . Great tunes , great music ...and some great memories of "back in the day " .

  • Had never heard of these guys 'till i saw them as support for Status Quo in 1988. Brought the cd Racing After Midnight and loved every track, brought the two previous albums recoded them all onto cassettes and played them for months every day when i started my first job as a builder in the summer of 1988. Drove everyone nuts. So many memories. Rock on.

  • Just like a fire, burning higher! You got my heart on a string. But now I know...Love changes everything!

  • i did an english report on johnny dee.. lol. i love this song <3

  • Imagine the hair care products being used back then!!!

  • I don't feel this old??? I love this band. Brings back very special memory's. Thanks for that!!

  • Awesome song & video. Seen H S in Manitoba very recently. Just as incredible in person.

  • unreal, what a song

  • Honeymoon Suite, deadly tune, the 80's! It's all GOOD!!!

  • What a great video & sound ! This is what music is all about and should be, IMO...

  • LIstening to songs by bands like H.S., Haywire, Glass Tiger, Platinum Blonde and Frozen Ghost bring back a ton of memories of growin' up in 1980's Canada

  • @mrx19772 Don't forget Helix! Bryan Adams as well

  • @mrx19772 oh yeah baby--- you could have been looking at MY cassette collection for those titles!!! I had em all!! :D
