Second off, paintball doesn't really hurt as much as airsoft in my opinion, I still have bloody welts that are infected from about 6 weeks ago. Third off, paintball uses no tactics at all, it's pure luck on what you hit, it's a fucking spray fest up in there (I used to play paintball). Fourth off, you get a WAY higher adrenaline rush whilst airsofting due to that use of tactics. So...Shove it?

There is one slight error on the website the real m4 weights 3.1kg when loaded.

Yet US troops want it lighter, they should try lugging an L85A2 at 4.563kg without the SUSAT around and then try to complain about the M4 carbine being to heavy...bloody wimps...anyway love the site and the little drop down country thing which has the isle of man separate very handy.

The M16/M4 is basicly a same gun, they come in versions of flat top and fixed carry handle sights. The original design of the M4/M16 is the AR-15, now refered to a semi-auto only civillian version. no, the M16 is not just 3 shot burst, no the m4 is not just full auto. jeez idiot

it uses the same DI system, just a shorter gas tube. the barrel is shorter, the receiver and bolts are the same as the M16, the buffer tube can be put on an M16, the grips are interchangeable, they both shoot a .223/5.56, whatever you wanna call it. they both have the same take down and maintenance. the only differences are the stock and barrel assembly. THEY ARE THE SAME SYSTEM.

well, if you really wanna get technical i guess you could say an M4 is a variant of an M16, thus making it an M16. the SR25 is a variant of an M16, and people still call it an M16. same with an AR15, which is the civilian variant of the M16, the only difference being the trigger group. BUT, AR15's also come in an "M4" configuration, but are still called an AR15.
