  • Great! Thanks!

  • steps to fix this depending on your screen resolution..

    1) Make the original image size as mentioned in the video.

    2) Alt + CTRL + I

    3) Make sure constrain proportions is on.

    4) Enter in your screen resolution width. (can be found in display settings)

    5) Complete using method in description.

  • @DJ0TraCeur alt+ctrl+i is image size not canvas size. alt+ctrl+c is canvas size.

  • @anon12377 ...you don't need canvas size..

the objective of this is to stretch the image height to your screen res, whilst keeping the proportions the same. Which requires the image size tool.

  • Thanks for what picture size xD

    That was all i need

    Anyway

    Thank you!

  • you deserve a better computer for this

  • jet set radio future XD

  • how do u center ur pic?

  • why do you start your size at 1024 x 83, then change it after in the canvas setting?

  • This is completely determined by the user's resolution sadly, so this won't work perfectly unless you have exactly the same resolution.

    Example:

    I have a 1280x800 screen

To make this work for me you have to make the base image 1280x221 then take that image and make the entire line of it 1280x800.

I didn't even need to make a square shaped image for it to work right. Even opened up at full size it fits without stretching past the scene area.

  • yeah this realy works thanks a lot

  • JSRF For the win

  • So sexy

  • Thanks So Much!

  • Btw what song is being played starting at 0:20 ???

  • 1024 is only based off your resolution; I changed mine to 1280x1280 instead and it worked perfectly for me =] thanks buddy. Would love to see more Canadian tutorials eh! I'm a Canadian myself

  • Hoho, not bad

  • thanks :)

  • jet set radio fan i hear :P

  • thxnx, but a bit pixelated but much better :D

    thnx alot

  • Don't listen to this tutorial, do this.

    Open Photoshop

    Make your image 640x320

Make a 640x30 bar in the CENTER

    Only draw on that bar

    delete the bar

Save it as a ping (.PNG)

Result, it will be a lot less blury

  • @WizzyCharlie What the hell can I draw on a bar that's 30 pixels high?

  • @WizzyCharlie wat youmean make a bar how do yu do that
