that window you pulled up at 6:14, how did you get that? when i double-click on my smart object, that doesn't come up. and i imported it using "Place" just as you showed in the beginning of the tutorial.
While I am dazzled by your knowledge of ps, perhaps more amazing to me is that you talk a blue streak ( no offence intended, quite the opposite ) so rapidly, and yet you never betray the least hint of stumbling over a word,even minutely. Never do you say "uh", Never are at a loss for a word of description,indeed you utter the perfect ones in such a friendly, amiable, and warm way (much like Dan Aykroyd as Beldar Conehead, or a computerized sales message, again, no offence) Amazing!!!!

That explains why the window doesn't open for you; you have to place a raw file as the smart object - it can't be a jpg.
