  • Good cover, but RUSH rules.

    Power F-in Trio!

  • I love the original, but this one is so much better...

  • This song has power !!!!

  • skid row is awesome and they did a great cover of a song by another awesome band

  • @apacolypseday good observation wanker

  • @james1987mmm fuck you

  • MUTHA JUNKIN TIGHT AS HELL!!!! YES TO THE MAX MOTHER TRUKKER! Not altered, not molested, totaly respected. Fucking bad ass all the way.

  • MUTHA JUNKIN TIGHT AS HELL!!!! YES TO THE MAX MOTHER TRUKKER!

  • c'mon now, horrible

  • This was the perfect song to cover.

  • this song used to be famous around my teenage circle 'cause the cymbals we used to say "fck those cymbals must be a ten ton cymbals" but my friend,if u only hear this here>>>>>^ u will never listen to the real sound that this have

  • @Eirito NO RUSH

  • Very nice cover and needless for me to say that no one will ever match Rushs' version.

  • Wow great cover!!!!!!!

  • What year was this verison recorded?

  • @Eirito Great Rush song But I prefer Bach

also check out Fingding my way,Tom Sawyer,Lake side park,Working Man, Jacobs Ladder Baz dose RUSH Justice... He Even had Getty on the GG show with him

  • SKID ROW = Big RUSH fans

  • I had no idea this existed. Too fucking cool.

  • I believe some of the lyrics were screwed up.

  • I've loved this version ever since I was a kid, but Lifeson's guitar just sounds thicker imho. Rutsey's drums sounded heavier too, but then again, almost all drums in the 70's sounded heavier to me.

  • This is pretty sweet the melody and tones feel tighter together than the original I think.

  • The overuse of pinch harmonics annoy me. That's what is great about Alex Lifeson, he takes harmonics and instead of making them sound like metal shit he makes them sound fucking brilliant.

  • not many bands dare cover Rush. balls are required. who knew skid row could pull this off?

  • JRMCKEEL YOU FOOL, THIS SONG IS NOT NEIL PEART THE DRUMMER

  • @duduyyz did he imply that neil peart played the original version? no he didn't.

  • @Knukleheada no he did not, but steveman27 did. he said he had only heard what your doing and judged neil peart based on that song. a song he did not play on.

  • @Steveman27 Are you kidding me? You're not qualified to judge a drummer's talent let along to base your judgement on one song alone. What's incompable talent? Neal Peart is simply the best drummer ever. Sorry.

  • @jrmckeel Yeah john rutsey

  • Great cover guys!:)

  • Bach sounds like he's trying to grunt out a big hard cheese turd!

  • Great cover! I am a 30+ year RUSH fan. What You're Doing is just-about my favorite song of all time. This is a great cover. They captured the best of both John Rutsey's and Neil Peart;s take on drums plus the ballsy guitars and vocals. Bravo!

  • @jrmckeel I may have never heard much of Rush and I may have heard just that one song "What You're Doing" by Rush after discovering this album by Skid Row, but why did Snake Sabo really have to tell me he thought Neil Peart had incompable talent? I think he's underrating Rob Affuso just a little because I've heard both What You're Doings by Skid Row and Rush and Rob sounds as good as the drummer Neil Peart. I've heard many Skid Row songs and Rob was a great drummer in that band.

  • Great cover! 30+ year RUSH fan here. I appreciate the cover. They captured the best of the pre-Neal & Neal versions.

  • its too buisy...it needs to be cleaned up...the instruments are competing with each other in stead of working together...great musicians though

  • not even close to Rush dont even get it confused son.

good cover BUT we are talking about the greatest band of all time

  • @teecuzbruh It sounds like you're clearly overrating the band.

  • @dujl Only slightly; Rush IS quite close to the top.

  • Rush owns and Sebastian would agree. Hes a HUGE Rush fan

  • This is an awesome extrapolation of the original! Woah yeah! Great cover.

  • Was Joan Jett in Skid Row? I`m trying to figure out which one she is? Regardless, Skid Row are one hella group of sexy ladies. I like this song, it`s like Led Zeppelin but less interesting. I do hope they get their tits out for the boys. My favorite is Dave (what a strange name for a girl). I think she`s got lovely eyebrows but a strange nose only a boxer`s mother could love. What a whacky bunch of girls they are. I don`t like Scott much, she looks like a ladyboy? Hope they haven`t got worms?

  • Oh so that's who Sebastian Bach is... I saw him in Rush's new documentary and I had no idea who he was. For all the other people they interviewed, they put their band's name, but not him. He's a weird fella...

  • Excellent cover! Thumbs up!!!

  • fuck ebastian bach

  • Nothing like taking a classic Rush song and turning it into a cheap 80s hair metal song. Awful.

  • @trenken Yeah, my wife is tone deaf enough to think this beats the quality of Rush. I'm a Rush and Maiden fan while she is a ratt and poison fan, not a big surprise eh ?

  • Great cover.

  • Awesome cover!!!!

  • this is the way i always wanted to hear it

  • i bloody love this!

  • This is better than the Rush album version but not better than the All The World's Stage version IMHO

  • mmmm,, this is a great cover, but, rush's version is better :/

  • bachs voice is 1000 times better, but gedde's voice suits this song better.

  • doesn't metter who wrote this song it metter how its sounds:D sorry for bad english

  • Damn this cover was done with love xD. Usually dislike rush covers, but this one great cover!

  • i like the version by rush on all the worlds a stage better

  • this cover is better than original ;)

  • thats what i reckon

  • your stupid rush s is better because they were the ones who wrote it origginally so the cover obviously isnt better

    not bad though.

  • @jacobclark101 Thats dumb, of course a cover can be better then the original. See: Johnny Cash's Hurt. It makes NINs version seem like a weepy goth kids scribbled poetry.

  • @Roky151994 retarded statement

  • @Zeppelinfan25 skid row are better than rush try to play rush-what yu're doing riffs and try to play skid row- what are you doing(cover)...riffs are diferent is harder to play skid row version

  • @Roky151994 We can't determine which band is better. It's all a matter of opinion.

  • @Roky151994 yeah okay rush would kick these guy's ass anyday

  • Great song , great cover. Skid Row is cool, they sound a lot like Quiet Riot

  • BAZ ROXX

  • good cover but it doesn't even come close to rush' original.good effort skid row but leave the rockin to the pros(rush)

  • awesome cover by a great band!

  • this song is amazing! i think that rush's version is better jus cause its original

  • ¡skid row blows my soul! yheaaa!

  • this song is awesome...i kind of like tis version better than rush's version

  • sebastian bach has a wicked voice

  • AMAZING!

  • Shoot ,before I forget Baz also recorded Finding my way, which came out on The Greatist 80's Metal Moments

  • this band we called SKID ROW is my idol...eversince!!!

  • Actually, this song is off of the Skid's BSide Ourselves, which came out between Slave to the Grind and Subhuman Race.

  • i didn't know he made this cd!

i am going to have to buy it!

i love skid row, sebastian bach can sing and get really high pitched sound!

  • Yeah this is from his 'Bach 2 Bach's' album

  • Wasn't this Baz solo from some Rush Tribute? He also covered "Working Man".

  • This is from Skid Row's B side our selves,Baz has done 2 Rush Tribute CD's since then where he did Working Man & Jacobs Ladder & another where he coverd Tom Sawyer & Lake Side Park.
