Then again, with so many episodes to choose from, it's hard to pick just 10.

I'd also add "Into the Fire" and "The Very Long Night of Londo Mollari" to the list :)

Not a bad list but one could make a list of 10 different ones that might be just as good. For example, "The Coming of Shadows" which was one of two episodes to win a Hugo. "Babylon Squared" also set a lot of forces in motion and got the viewers imagination fired up. Episodes like those built the tension that the later episodes fed from.

Personally i think Confessions and Lamentations is the very best episode.
