Some of the SH2 vids seem to trigger some of those automatic content ID matches. They don't count against my account, though, and still leave the video as viewable, it just puts ads on them.

The Greatest Hits version, yes. That's the one I have. The GH version has all the new features that were added on the XBox version of the game.

@RoahmMythril Actually, in SH4, you can see that James' father lives in the apartment building, his name is Frank Sunderland, so those 2 games are kinda connected.And later in the game the radio says ''a body and a car were found deep in Toluca Lak near Silent Hill.''I think that's proof enough for you :P

For a worse ending, I actually found the first ending a lot more depressing, but then again, I'm pretty jaded towards suicide and it's probably because you skipped over the entirety of Mary's depressing letter. I'm guessing her ending letter didn't/doesn't change?

@ganonman8 X3 sigma is easy aside form the final phase which can be hell. As for X4. Play through it enough and you'll realize it's kind of easy. It's just the random part of the final phase that get's me.

It may take a little time. I was out most of the day today and didn't really feel like recording when I got in, but on each subsequent run, I'll have less and less to record, so hopefully it'll pick up.

@levelmaster2 Silent Hill 2 has 6 endings, the fun endings included, if memory serves. So there'll most likely be 2 other endings before the fun stuff.

I wonder why looking at Mary's picture and the note doesn't influence to this ending. In both endings James cared about Mary and in this case she meant to him more than anything.

Looking at the photo and letter shows the game that you care about Mary and are determined to learn the truth. Looking at the knife tells the game that, while maybe you do care, maybe you don't, you don't really care about your own life.

You mentioned a few times the lack of health bars on enemies. Having not played survival horrors, is that usually a game design choice in the genre, to keep you wondering how long the battles go on? Or do they usually feature health bars? It might take some fear away if you're looking at the bar and thinking "okay, great, only 10% health to go, stay cool."

Well, it's not really known that he never left, he's just never been directly referenced again is all. There's nothing that flat out said "James Sunderland was found dead at the bottom of Toluca Lake" or anything like that.

Personally I really like tis ending.Don't get me wrong, I think James certainly deserves a happy ending, but this one really moves me. There's a lot of emotion behind it, even more than the 'Leaving' ending, as James doesn't survive the experience. It's hard to explain, but despite my love for a happy ending, this one is probably my favorite in the game.
