  • Zeiss was the best and was sold in Holland and was one of the most expensive brands of photo camera's. My first digital cam was a Zeiss.

  • @TheFrancoGerman : Da hatte Karin Sass sicher schon Probleme mit Alkohol.

- 22 Jahre alt. - Merkt man auch.

  • 0:21 It's Princess Leia!

  • how did it work in the DDR? were there competitive products? why were there commercials?

  • Competitive Products? Of course not there were no commercial

  • there were commercials cause they allways want to be like the brd

  • Forget that stupid answers: they where competitive, because they sold everything in the western countries. Maybe you have seen the one or other thing, but did not know it. They sold it unter labels from western companys and most known for "older" people unter "white goods". They had to sold it because of they had no commodities. And so they could buy something or anything else.

  • The old firms stayed until the ~1960's, then it was all direct central planning. Some exceptions. The ad is more a public service ad with a brand.

The product exists, its good is basically the message.

  • @greenpointguy ------------>Commercials were more along the lines of infomercials. Not to compete but more to let consumers know certain product is released and available in konsum / department store.

  • The Carl Zeiss microscopes we have are the best I've ever used :)

  • real quality! :D

  • Better looking glasses then what you see these days in the us...
