There is something that I dont understand, I understand that Kron went to the past to build his own reality, also, according with the videos this reality was suposed to impact our, I also understand that the player went to kill him and why, and also some posible sources of the paradox, but the point that I dont understand is who the hell designs a bomb that can be deactivated with just pushing a button in the front.

Thus, how is she REMEMBERING looking at HERSELF in bed or at HERSELF in a computer screen? Quantum or not, cognitive thought doesn't work that way. Plus, the beginning shows she was IN the lab, but she couldn't have seen HERSELF in the explosion, otherwise, she doesn't exist. Check Wikipedia, the main character is supposed to be anonymous.

This game had the most random storyline that made no sense ever. I had no clue what my final objective was the entire game. Its like one of those stories, where you get a group of 10-15 people together, and each person takes turns adding 3 words to a story, until you have it. This games story made absolutely no sense, and was very poorly conveyed and explained, though gameplay was alright.

@k750ix2 I think the question is. Why not jump back and kill chrone before he arms the bomb right after the beginning of the game. I didn't play much. Maybe the suit was damaged and I don't remember. BTW you never really know if he should have disappeared or not. The whole point of a paradox is an incomprehensible means of existence.
The way I see it is that the Beta suit was designed to prevent paradoxes, which is why you aren't allowed to TOUCH or DO anything during Reverse less it, being read by the computer, counts as a Paradox. You can only do something when stop has grinded to a halt or is slowed, otherwise you are, by the computer reading, damaging space-time.
He stopped the ENTIRE EVENTS of the game from happening by stopping the bomb, and it's like what you said, he IS THERE from the beginning.
However, since he STOPPED the bomb and "I guess" stopped Krome as well, then that means the BLAST doesn't stop him from making an Auto-Return Jump or simply being FORCED to do what he did in the game due to the Suit Malfunction, thus creating the Paradox. Plus, he TECHNICALLY didn't "exist" during the game because Krome CHANGED EVERYTHING, meaning the Introduction scene NEVER happened. So maybe the timestream was just fixing itself, erasing the "Future" Beta Suiter from existence.
krome was killed in the future, because of that, he changed te past.. u see, so he makes Krome undone. then he jumps back in time and disarms the bomb,, after that the past is changed , krome doesnt exist, there is no bomb. there is no problem ;)
@k750ix2 Krone was the guy controlling the machinery. He fell out, you smashed his head in, and made a time jump from the alternate universe that he created to the alternate universe that you made by killing him after taking what was keeping you from getting out.
The machine then detects that the alternate you is coming into the room that your now not dead colleagues are in and makes a time jump out in order to keep you from seeing yourself.
Secondly - the hero deactivates the bomb. Paradox itself is that if there's no explosion the hero won't (have a reason to) jump to the past and then back to the future so he won't deactivate the bomb. It's all about cause-and-effect relation...
Finaly, 2 questions:
1) With this costume the hero can jump not only within one timeline but more?

So he saves the facility, Kills the man responsible for all this, and creates an alternate time line where everything turns out fine

Hey guys, if anyone overlooked this fact, he used KRONE'S temporal origin drive to return to his own time. So Krone can't return to the present again because he's DEAD! So now, the alpha suit is gone, and whatever you did to create the paradox, besides the bomb thing, if they make another game. It's going to have to do with YOU! The main character, because krone is G-O-N-E GONE forever!
the reason a time paradox occurred is because he went back to stop a bomb that would have made the other him that was getting in the suit at that time not have to do a jump and he wouldnt have stopped krone, and besides what he needed to do is go back and kill krone then diffuse the bomb to stop the paradox in 1939. even if he had done this the version of him that stopped the bomb and saved the day couldnt be there because there would then be two of them so what he did still let krone escape
He should've gone back to the moment krone planted the bomb and kill him RIGHT THERE! Then, just diffuse the bomb, and... actually then, the you that did it would disappear because none of it would ever have happened!

no, the time suit protects you from any effects of time interference, other wise krone would have died going back to 1939 because he wasnt born or very young.

The suit sended him away becouse of the other him in that time aren´t alowed to know he is there becouse in som time traveling teoris is it so that if you see your self both die.. And i think they used that one on this time. So the one with beta suit can never come to his own time. He have to do what ever he wants to do in other times. Bad for him? Yeah...

Why is it that revealing who he is would cause a paradox is my only real question. I mean, does he still get to disarm the bomb, and so his girlfriend lives, and he just can't reveal who he is, or is it that he couldn't have ever disarmed the bomb. And why it would have caused a paradox.
Revealing who he is didnt cause the paradox, it's what he did, presumely think of time as a record going round, when he stopped the bomb he created the 'X Factor" and changed how time works from now on until another X Factor
There are five people (Far past, past, self, future and far future self)
In the first movie the far furture self did not turn off the bomb, but when the real you got to the bomb you changed that and in simpler terms created a new record or time stream just like Krone
Timeshift is a good game and has a good story. There is nothing extremely special about it, but it is definitely a worthwhile experience. In my opinion, it's better than Crysis.

1/2 if hed stop the bomb he will undo his own actions that were caused by the bomb inclouding, and thats the paradox, the disabling of the bomb.
even reversing time for 10 secs would not be possible. imagine the scene with the corridor exploding if you reverse time you can walk through it and see it explode from the other side. but you would see your former self on the other side like you were 10 secs ago. this meas that you saw your later self when you were standing there! confusing?impossible!

I think the paradox is that his girlfriend/wife dies when he decided to jump.
With the girl still alive, the time traveler never had a reason to find Dr. Krone.

classic timetraveler-noob mistake. you cant change YOUR own timeline, thats because SSAM (suits AI) made a jump, because he desarmed the bomb, so he didnt needed to jump in the first place, and so on. thats called a paradox

exactly u are the first one to make sence of it. that is the trouble with timetraviling, it just like the grandfather effect if u kill ur grandfather before u were born then he could not have ur fater and thus u would not have been born to go back in time to kill him which in turn creates a paradox. isnt theoretical physics fun :)

IM CLEARING THIS UP OUNCE AND FOR ALL so he killed krone and yadayada yada he went to save the girl by doing that he never had to go save her in the first place so she did die and so on the parodox sent him right before he made the jump witch should be wer 2 starts out witch they had to find a way to save sam without triggering a parodox or 2 was wer the paradox destroyed the space time continuam and he has to fix it by stopping all paradoxes there

actually sorry to burst all your bubbles, he couldnt return to his future since in one of the ATV levels i think it showed an alternate and present reality and it broke through the present so in sense that world would be gone he'd have to live in the after krone world. but the game was amazing, too bad you didnt see the suit a whole lot

Hey guys, if anyone overlooked this fact, he used KRONE'S temporal origin drive to return to his own time. So Krone can't return to the present again because he's DEAD! So now, the alpha suit is gone, and whatever you did to create the paradox, besides the bomb thing, if they make another game. It's going to have to do with YOU! The main character, because krone is G-O-N-E GONE forever!

the reason a time paradox occurred is because he went back to stop a bomb that would have made the other him that was getting in the suit at that time not have to do a jump and he wouldnt have stopped krone, and besides what he needed to do is go back and kill krone then diffuse the bomb to stop the paradox in 1939. even if he had done this the version of him that stopped the bomb and saved the day couldnt be there because there would then be two of them so what he did still let krone escape

no, the time suit protects you from any effects of time interference, other wise krone would have died going back to 1939 because he wasnt born or very young.

The suit sended him away becouse of the other him in that time aren´t alowed to know he is there becouse in som time traveling teoris is it so that if you see your self both die.. And i think they used that one on this time. So the one with beta suit can never come to his own time. He have to do what ever he wants to do in other times. Bad for him? Yeah...

Why is it that revealing who he is would cause a paradox is my only real question. I mean, does he still get to disarm the bomb, and so his girlfriend lives, and he just can't reveal who he is, or is it that he couldn't have ever disarmed the bomb. And why it would have caused a paradox.

I think the paradox is that the suit hadn't made the actual jump to Krone's alternate stream yet.
It couldn't have appeared to save that doctor from the explosion because she died moments before it made the jump that resulted in her survival.
The protagonist dying would probably also have caused a paradox in that situation.

Revealing who he is didnt cause the paradox, it's what he did, presumely think of time as a record going round, when he stopped the bomb he created the 'X Factor" and changed how time works from now on until another X Factor
There are five people (Far past, past, self, future and far future self)
In the first movie the far furture self did not turn off the bomb, but when the real you got to the bomb you changed that and in simpler terms created a new record or time stream just like Krone

Timeshift is a good game and has a good story. There is nothing extremely special about it, but it is definitely a worthwhile experience. In my opinion, it's better than Crysis.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but there shouldn't be a paradox.
It is believed to be a paradox because if the bomb didn't explose, there would be no reason for him to go back to disable it.
But if we think of it this way:
He went back to stop the timer before it blew up, and he did it at the same time as the first instance of him was using the suit.
The first instance of him would travel away while the latter instance disabled the timer.
The first wouldn't even know about it.

1/2 if hed stop the bomb he will undo his own actions that were caused by the bomb inclouding, and thats the paradox, the disabling of the bomb.
even reversing time for 10 secs would not be possible. imagine the scene with the corridor exploding if you reverse time you can walk through it and see it explode from the other side. but you would see your former self on the other side like you were 10 secs ago. this meas that you saw your later self when you were standing there! confusing?impossible!
