  • the S2K wuz usin Nos

  • VETTE

  • Vette was a rocket lol

  • both beautiful cars

  • both handle great

  • The NSX and the S2K are great looking cars. Too bad they're so torque challenged.

  • "pulls it off, plus it off"

  • @Tony715N918 "pulls it off, pours it on"

  • VTEC kicked in YO!

  • 1) Chevrolet Corvette C5: 10.55s

    2) Honda NSX: 12.04s

    3) Honda S2000: 12.44s

  • @sabby123456789 1) 600hp 2) 400hp 3) 300hp

  • @BeanPole7826 All very good cars. But my favourite is the NSX.

  • that's one strong s2k.

  • these are the only two good cars that honda has ever made!

  • @M40A3xCoLoRxX They are two of the best but not the only two good cars in my opinion, The Civic and Integra Type-R have always been top cars too, even the Accord type-R I hear is a very good drive too

  • @gsinghbance i totally agree with you!! but the civic is like the only car that that people buy so they can turbo it, and just put TONS of money into it and turn it into a ricer, if people didnt do that then i would like it way more than i do now, thats why i really dislike the civic, but like i said i do agree with you!

  • Chevy all the way

  • look @ his other video this car ran 10.39 on a stock motor with this turbo kit.

  • oh damn..i think i creamed my skivies

  • The newer 97+ NSXs run 12.9's stock. This one looks older.

  • @jonvssocrates there both boosted stock time mean nothing

  • @jonvssocrates thats at sea level this was done in roswell nm @ over 4000 ft elevation.

  • Like the fellow there just sayed... Hondas are made for TRACK, not for DRAG!

Vettes and Camaros and other muscle cars are made for drag maybe, I dont know.

But A s2000 stock I assure you, have a LOT of fun doing curves at high speed. And it does so well... so sexy..

  • that vette had a lot of fucking torque!

  • I think the s2k skipped a gear, but both hondas are awesome

  • Tthe only 2 Hondas worth while. Fuck all other Hondas.

  • @PijnigeR meh, an sk2 stock is pretty boring imo, compared to other things in the same price range, it just doesn't any torque.

  • @911SHIZBO Compared to all the twin turbo cars I have driven the s2000 is pretty damn fun. Hitting vtec and just letting its lightweight ass pull you back into the seat.. I love the s2000. One of the best cars ever made IMO

  • @911SHIZBO it's still pretty quick for only 200whp but what you are overlooking is its perfect balance and extremely low weight. you might find cars with way more torque than the s2000 for the same money but none that handle as well

  • @911SHIZBO it was not stock didnt you read it said turboed

  • Both cars are incredible.

  • I know which one id have.. No brainer really.. I wouldn't touch the hairdresser s2000.. Puke:

  • @GtstTypeM have you ever driven an s2000? you will never find a hairdresser in one. there a street leagal race car thats very rough and bumppy olny comes in 6 speed manual and not comfortable at all. you have to have balsl to drive that car or youll die no joke.

  • @karsseboomh22 LMAO... I have actually.. And if thats what you think.. Then your a shite driver...

Ive been in better golf buggys

  • @GtstTypeM no you have not. i dont mean drive an s2000 i MEAN DRIVE AT AN AUTO X EVENT OR TRACK RACE. well no duh anyone can drive a car but you have never pushed it to its limits. because if you did you would knwo how touchy that car really is. that one of the most talked about thing with the s2000 is how the dangerous that car is.

  • @karsseboomh22 Any RWD car is dangerous if you dont know how to drive it you fool.. Not just the hair dressers car in question..

P.s.. I regularly take my cars to there limits on track so ner...

  • @GtstTypeM there is very few RWD cars that are as touchy as the s2k you dont understand. The s2000 is a steet legal race car period. ask anyone who know anything about cars. you wont see a hairdresser driving a car that has super stiff suspension and a cockpit that looks like an f1 car, with the wrong gas pressure and your sliding into a ditch...this is not some miata or z4 man it closer to a lotus

  • @karsseboomh22 Your rambling on is pointless, you wont change my opinion. I dont think you actually understand that your talking about RWD as a whole.

ANY RWD to a driver who cant drive will oversteer, to much gas and cause the r.e to come out. Ill just remind you. Thats with ANY RWD car

Think of the S2000 as a sharp knife. It is a great tool if used correctly, but can be deadly in the wrong hands. Would you ever blame a knife for being too sharp? No. In short, it's the driver, not the car.

  • save the Tires, save the Gas, save the Sweat.... for the Curves. It's a Honda. Not a Mustang.

  • @RWIron well said sir:D

  • @RWIron what does that mean? if so then honda are far superior to mustangs

  • @69bakedskater Thats what i meant?

  • @RWIron Ive seen civics run 9's. Every fast mustang Ive seen is running a chevy engine. You are right, Honda's got it in the curves too :p

  • @RWIron it ran an 11 sec, pretty darn good imo

  • @RWIron...........your truly an idiot

  • @qthoneyb How's he the idiot? You can't even spell right lol

  • Comment removed

  • @RWIron so is 8 seconds too slow for you....? check out this NSX.... watch?v=ZiWSxVhgy-0&feature=related

  • @RWIron honest comment

  • @RWIron Exacty it's not a shitty mustang, can save more gas if we just throw away all the useless v8's in the world, even the fastest cadillac cts-v which a gtr is faster than

  • i am actually very surprised at this

nsx was made for the track

and since the s2k has one of the highest revving engines of its time i thought it was gonna have a big lead

  • the nsx is made by acura isnt it?

  • @ftart323 It's branded by Acura in the US, but it is made by Honda, just like other Acuras of the '90s.

  • @ftart323 it was originally made by honda, then acura hondas american owned branch, produced the nsx a few years later

  • @TheRiseagainstfan go to japan you wont find a acura nsx its all honda nsx

  • @aksamurai01 i know, believe me i know cars and their origins, go to japan and you wont find an acura period

  • the thing is, i'm sure if Honda wanted to have a beefy 8cylinder in the NSX, they could have done it. Pretty much, these car companies can do what they want to do.

Honda didn't just make the NSX to be a power hog. :O)

Remember when it first came out and all the magazines were saying, "The NSX is a Ferrari that went to college."

  • @moonleyet

Indeed. An NSX with an ITB setup is just music to the ears.

  • @moonleyet Honda could have put a V8 into the NSX, but that wouldn't have made too much of a difference. They were limited to 280hp due to Japanese vehicle restrictions.

Honda and Ferrari are two different companies. Honda produces cars that focus on reliability and affordability; racing is just a byproduct. Ferarri, on the other hand, is focused on the best possible race machine. Enzo Ferrari founded the company to fund his racing endeavors.

  • @Jestervs yes... i'm aware of the restrictions and that Ferrari and Honda are drastically different. My comment should be considered more hypothetical... if there were no restrictions.

We all know what Honda can do... just look at Honda's F1 history. :O)

  • Nsx is no faster than a rsx with few some modifications, but does anything beat the exterior of an nsx? Never in these days

  • @01hidefinition92 RSXs are slow, don't even compare those two

  • @Lymitliss K engines are slow, are you out of your mind. Its one of the best production high compression engines on the road hotshot. Do some research.

  • @dopesick187 I said RSX queer, try reading.

  • @Lymitliss Wow youre a fucking moron. Do you know what motors are in RSX's fucktart, K20A3 K20A2 and K20Z1 so READ about the car youre referring to or shut the fuck up. Dont you fell dumb as dogshit? I bet you do.

  • @dopesick187 Yeah I definitely "fell" dumb as dogshit.

I don't care what kind of engine it has in it, if it's slow, it's slow. You obviously have one and you're just upset because they're slow. K's are overrated.

I love all these wannabe technicians on here talking big and tough on the internet, like you're gonna hurt feelings when you look like a fool. Feel like a big man yet? Reading through these comments to pick fights, you must be SO COOL!

  • @Lymitliss i have a turbo D dumbass, and its sad you have to pick apart one minute detail of my grammar to try and take a stab at me. Youre a joke and a child. Learn something then get at me junior.

  • @dopesick187 Coming from the guy that picks fights on Youtube comments, how bored are you?

  • @01hidefinition92 are you kiding me? you knwo what the difference is? the nsx runs high 12s bone stock and well the rsx rins 15s bone stock maybe high14s with good driver...the nsx would destroy an rsx like it was standing still

  • who debates about Vettes and an NSX. Two different breeds of vehicle.

    Honda

    Cheverolet

    Why even compare?

  • WHAT THE

  • That corvette would've roasted both of those japs.

  • @jpap967 yeah, and the vette is like 60 - 70k. An S2000 is worth like 30k new, put that difference of 30k into the s2000 then talk. Ur comparing apples to oranges and being just the most ignorant person ever.

  • @DennyTuanLy 70k? It's a base model c5 my good boy, you can pick em up for $11-15k with decent miles today. He probably has another $3-4k in mods. Brand new the NSX cost a fuck ton and the s2000 cost the same as this base model C5 you see here in the vid, both at about $33k. You can't touch an NSX today for even under $30,000, and S2000's will cost as much as a C5. We live in 2010 buddy. Most ignorant person ever? Look who's talking. Moron...

  • @jpap967

perhaps denny wants a car that can corner, isnt made of plastic and doesnt spend half of its post warranty life hoisted off the ground with a mechanic under it. just a thought.

  • @surruk OH RIGHT CUZ VETTES SUCK AT CORNERING.... Noob..... Mechaninc under it? Really? Thats why vettes with 150k-200k miles still run strong with nothing but regular maintainance? Are you seriously saying the LS1 needs work done to it all the time? Wow, do some research idiot they're among the most reliable and mod ready motors in the world.

  • @jpap967 yes your correct but in certain region only,, i actaully bought my c5 for 17k thats pretty good considering it only has 79k on it,, but the nsx in cali you could get one depending on the year ive actually been looking and they only cost about 20kish , the reason why it cost so much is because of the supply and demand theory im sure if no wanted there nsx anymore it would be under 10k,, and a use s2k in the central valley where im from is actaully cheap 8-9k and you can get a use one

  • Sorry, I have a S2K and NSX and Honda has lost the balls to do a performance car.

  • @cptnsx It's not just that they've lost the balls so much as all the recent legislation concerning emissions that has killed their traditional 'small capacity/ high revs' style of engine building. The Civic Type R has just been binned in the UK because of this.

  • @cptnsx heck yeah!!! they cancelled the new nsx because they were too cautious about the economy and how it'd sell. I WANNA SEE A NEW NSX!

  • @GOMBPRODUXIONS you want to see it but can you buy it? no, just like most people.. that's the problem with the new nsx everyone wants one but not enough can buy one

  • @Hurricane012345 That's true, I obviously can't buy it because I'm still in college but if I was a retired old man and had the money. I'd be on the waiting list for one lol. What pisses me off the most is that dumb hicks put good money towards a crappy vette rather than an NSX (back in the 90's) Now it's the same thing with the GTR

  • @GOMBPRODUXIONS haha yeah it sucks.. if more people would put research into what they buy and how much they get for the money, the nsx would probably be a top selling car. but everyone who buys nice cars just automatically goes for the brands known for fast instead of quality.

  • @Hurricane012345 Heck yeah, hopefully people will learn. I doubt it though. Most people think don't have a clue what it is when they see one driving down the highway. IMO, It's just so exciting seeing a NSX in person, I wish they were more common. I'm lucky to see one once a year driving down the highway where I live and that's pretty sad....

  • @GOMBPRODUXIONS yeah i agree i probably see Ferrari's more than i see NSX's

  • See FX winning everything in their 92 NSX on the time attack tracks plus the owner of many track records. Honda could have did a lot with the car more power stiff springs etc owners have and they kill other cars at tracks. The chassis on a car is the most important and no amount of power can make up for that if it is lacking. I have a 92 NSX with 420rwhp and it drives better than any new car I have ever owned and Im talking about quality here .... no rattles no squeaks even after 18 years.

  • To all the people who say .... you can buy a faster car ..bs. This is a mid-engine car. Mid-engine supercars drive differently then anything else period. If you want a mid-engine supercar you will either get a used NSX (FI it ) or get a Ferrari or Lambo and maybe the V10 R8 that is it. There are no other options plus there are less than 8000 NSXs in the country at best. I have a S2K and a NSX(w/420rwhp) and the driving experience of the NSX is better before and after my blower install.

  • i own a s2k there fast but i really think if i drag race a nsx i cant keep up there a little faster

  • Didn't know the S2K was that quick.

  • Lol that announcer doesn't know what a NSX or a S2K is.

  • I'd like Honda makes more RWD cars in the future, and still with intelligent engines. VTEC is such a thing :)

  • @deruboa drift?

  • bout to say all htat money into the nsx it better win

  • yeah guys the Nsx won, ran a 12.04 and looks like the s2k ran a 12.44....Nsx all day baby, still love the s2ks...but just so everyone knows which im sure most of u do a factory Nsx's run 12.9-13.4 depending on the year and type and of course the driver w/o slicks

  • holy fuck that corvette was fast O.O

  • who won??

  • That c5 is no joke!

  • @yuwack LOL burn.

  • Ya nsx is awesome but unfair to say s2000's suck they cost a 3rd less brand new then the nsx does for it being a 15 year old car. Both are sweet. s2k spent way less to have a almost as fast car.

  • Anyone here own a NSX ?? ill trade cars for a day I got a 300hp crx ,, I just want to borrow the pussy magnet for a day. Just to see what I could do =P

  • s2k sucks ass.. nsx way better car

  • @yuwack no the s2k are badass too you shouldnt be comparing these two cars to being with, you just a noob who has nothing to say about hondas other than your dumb ass comment

  • corvette is awesome!

  • VTEC FTW!

  • damn just hearing the nsx scares tha crap outta me

  • y òloveesegdfhdhdrhyudtjhd

  • Oh yeah!!! Acura NSX!!!

  • Hahaha! Guys don't worry ho is better, they both awesome cars, read, read , read magazines and good performance shows like top gear, and learn ho is better car. I have a NXS I'm going to post some videos and I need to regonize that the s2k is better car.

  • that vette...would rip ass

  • I want to get my dick sucked in those cars

  • haha listen to this hick's commentary he doesnt know shit. Cant even pronounce NSX wahahah

  • Holy Moley that is Honda Classic head up dang unbelieve!

  • why? his top is up, a hardtop would only add weight.

  • aerodinamics are better and if the softtop isnt on the car just the hard one then its not more weight its lighter.

  • you actually have the soft top under it so it is indeed more weight, unless you plan to rip the motor and the canvas too ?

  • is that so? i thought the softtop will removed and then you put the hard one on it. ok i think if you want to you can do it like that.

  • honda em1 and ek9 respectable oh and rsx type s 2 <3 s2k top 1 :))

i <3 honda and acura what can i say hehe

  • NSX is so sexy it doesn't look honda!!!

  • @jonasvalero

Not at all. Honda doesn't seem known to make race-looking cars. The NSX is so nice, overpriced, but nice.

  • I don't like "race-looking" cars.

They become too bandwagon. I like sleepers or very unique top end cars.

    Like that 7 second volvo.

  • There definitely is more charm in a car that you don't expect to be fast, or THAT fast. I'm perhaps a bit too into looks. And that would be because I don't find much time go to the track. So, why not look good (to me) and fast on a daily basis.

    What do you drive?

  • I have a Tercel. Just finished installing the 4efte (starlet GT) motor with the limited slip diff.. Pretty quick. And amazing gas mileage.

With minimal upgrades, I can probably push low 12s, without sacrificing my gas mileage/dependability (well not too much dependability loss).

All the new camaros/mustangs and stuff are catching the eye, but I find them to be very sluggish. That's really what I was trying to say in less words, hehe.

  • @destine4hope thats the whole point. over price is what makes nsx more of a nice car. imagine all the civic driver drove a nsx? nsx wouldnt be a nice car anymore. all the ricer with super man body kit on it think about it...

  • @BlueRice

Well regardless of the price, no doubt it's a nice car. I don't know of the bat what makes this car more special than other Honda's and Acuras. Do you know?

  • @destine4hope its the only car honda made that has its engine in the back and its rear wheel drive. i think its still consider super car and it looks very sporty. very hard to tune this car. if you tune it right it has the best handling with humongous power curve for race track.

  • @BlueRice

Forgot about the mid-engined thing; still not worth the freakish price, but sick nonetheless.

Definitely wouldn't mind having one these for sure.

  • @destine4hope your somewhat right about the over-price. its a super car after all. it wont ever lose its value.

you can get way faster car with that money from factory. but ever car has its own price and performance quality.

yes its still over price i cant argue with you any further

  • @BlueRice i know of ALOT of NSX owners who also drive civics. no one really does the ricer scene no more. and almost every single civic ive seen in the past atleast 3 years wasnt ricey. its pretty much died down. i would say most would start off as a civic owner. we wouldnt ruin the car with dumb shit like you assume.

anyways, both nice cars, but poor times given whats done to them. id expect better.

  • @joescivic if i read it incorrectly. you saying i assume all people rice out a civic just because they are driving it? i dont assume nothing. my eariler comment im stating the value of nsx vs civic. what makes nsx car still nice today etc... i dont really care if people rice out their car. aslong its not super fancy. some mod i dont mind its just their preference. not my mine. im still driving a civic myself. swap engine running high 12's.

  • @BlueRice i still think my car is slow. fast for the bucks. fast for inline4 - save gas. compare it with other car like lexus 240, m3 etc... im no faster than them. im poor, most people dont admit they are poor. for the little money i spent i can have fun speeding in the civic. while other people have a luxury sport car and it eats up alot of gas. you be spending hundreds in week if you be smashing.

most people likes the looks of honda. i dont get their JDM looks or whatever.

  • @BlueRice JDM this, JDM that... whatever aslong its high quality. you can make the looks anyway you want not just because people like this and hype it up then you force your own brain to like it too. thats just plain stupid right there. thats where all the trend come from. be yourself like what you like not what other people like. rice out a car if you want if you like then thats cool.

i dress differently and i see alot of people try to dress like me when i flash something new.

  • @destine4hope

yea have you seen their new nsx concept?

the one with a v10 and expected to beat the gtr's time in the nurburgring (sorry if i spelled it wrong)

  • the only 2 respectable stock hondas

  • im finding the Prelude, Integra, and dont forget the Legend very respectable also. I drive a S2K and love it :)

  • prelude is respectable

  • @phtmexplo integra? haaa no way... prelude debatable.....haha and same with me its so much fun

  • And they are very fine machines?

If only I had the money.

  • The s2k is a but more affordable... without turbo though :<

  • @destine4hope u can find used s2k's relavtively cheap now actually and yes very fine machines...They look even better with a hard top

  • @wattsornott234 except for where one of them is and acura

  • @thinknowact3321 technically... Acura is Honda. in Japan and elsewhere the NS-X is and always has been a Honda

  • i know i cant believe the s2000 won tho i thot it was pretty gay

  • it didnt win...the nsx did...look at the times

  • it doesnt show the times!

  • @wattsornott234 lol the only respectable honda is the s2000, nsx is overpriced, would rather buy an evo instead of that supercar wanna be

  • @devil7995 super car wannabe?Ayrton Senna endoursed this car you ignorant CUNTHOLE and if you don't know who he is then you really are an ignorant cunt face

  • @edan1976 I dont give a fuck who endoursed that car, it has 280 horsepower, if you own this car you are just in deniel, the only reason you would buy this car is if you are a fan boy, there are a lot of faster cars out there for that price

  • @devil7995 Please watch these.

    watch?v=N9oUii8XHYY

    watch?v=p1M9wdF0NLk

If you know who the last person to say that Senna was 'the best F1 driver of all time is' (at 2 min, 35 sec in part 1), you'll understand.

Secondly, ad hominem goes both ways; if you are the type who looks only at raw speed, you are somewhat blind. The NSX-R ran the Nordschleife in 7 min 56 sec! For 280 horsepower, that is phenominal.

You're right, but you're missing so much.

  • @Violetcrime wtf that nsx in the video is not a type r and the type r is crap compared to its competition, stop trying to justify this car, there is nothing good about it at that price, NSX= car that has been discontinued because they were not making money off of it, that should tell you something, go buy a 2010 vette or a 911 if you want a good track car

  • @devil7995 Like I eluded before, you're right; it is overpriced for the performance delivered.

Why are you so passionate about hating, though? You just ad hominem until the cows come home about a car that seems you may as well ignore.

Again, an 8 minute lap around nurburgring; not may sub-300 hp cars can do this. The Vette C6 is 2-3 sec slower-

    en.wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/N%C3%BCrburgring_lap_times

Quit blindly dismissing a VERY good car. It's expensive, but very competent.

  • @devil7995

A note about the previous link; couldn't post it without modifying it. So, in case you didn't catch it, you need to edit in a '.' in the place of '(dot)'.

  • @Violetcrime omf fuck the car, I can buy a used honda s2k and Evo for that much money... and the evo is still faster. And for the type r version I can buy a fucking corvette z06 with 500 horsepower. you really cant see how overpriced the car is. ya its cool how it has a mid engine "V6" with 280 horsepower, wait thats only 40 more horsepower then the s2k wtf fuck that. used s2k for only 16 grand vs used 50g NSX... do you own an NSX, if you do you got ripped off

  • @devil7995

Good to see reasoning has not dampened your style of communication, I suppose.

Also nice to know you didn't bother looking at the site I linked; the evo may be faster in a straight line, but it's a dog in the corners, as shown by my link.

Anyone can dump a high-displacement motor into a frame and slap on wheels; what this car does in the corners with modest power is the stuff of legends. I know you don't believe me; look at the link. Seriously.

  • "...as mentioned in an interview with McLaren F1 designer Gordon Murray (translated from original Japanese into English).[18] "The moment I drove the NSX, all the benchmark cars—Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini—I had been using as references in the development of my car vanished from my mind. Of course the car we would create, the McLaren F1, needed to be faster than the NSX, but the NSX's ride quality and handling would become our new design target.""

    -Wikipedia: /wiki/Honda_NSX#Legacy_of_the_NSX

  • @Violetcrime obviously you are a fan boy and can't see that the nsx is just a bad car all around

  • @devil7995

    troll harder, faggot

  • @Violetcrime your mom

  • Honda didn't develop the NSX to be a dyno queen. They designed it to be a good track car. What it lacks in the straights it makes up in the corners.

  • @steveeeeboi Owners of the NSX admit it's not fast, but it's a beautiful, well built car that is good for a nice luxurious ride cross country, with the added advantage of sufficient power. handling is superb... but no, it's not going to put smoke in the face of most sports cars, especially not exotics.

The advantage though, you can take an NSX and add a few mods and kick ass!!! while still having reliability... it's a HONDA! Nuff said!

  • @moonleyet

It is indeed a beautiful car, of the most best 90's japanese supercars of the time, nsx is my next choice to the supra. Supra being top only because of its sheer power and big body. But nsx is just a sexy car period.

  • @steveeeeboi agreed. It is beautiful! The wild awesome thing about it is, you can find a used one (if you can) for a good price and then mod it up and still come out WAAAY less than a 911 Turbo, Audi R8, Ferrari, etc., etc. Besides, a stock NSX is awesome in itself. Now, put a freakin' 12 cylinder in there like these other "Exotics" and the NSX eats em up.

I love Porsche... 911 Turbo, Gemballa mods are my fav... but put a Turbo an NSX, beef the engine, same difference!!

  • @steveeeeboi domestic fan boys dont know that, they didnt know that a car can actualy turn without crashing

  • @steveeeeboi Well....not really anymore. Now the average Mustang GT (which is running the same track times as the new M3) could beat it on the track.

Sure took long enough for us Americans to figure out how to make our cars TURN though didn't it? lol

  • @colindyvig

I'm not going to lie. I LOVE the new 5.0 mustang. By no means do I dislike American cars. It's just so very few of them feel like a joy to drive on a curvy road. Sure in recent years they started updating the suspension and chassis layouts, but I have more fun driving my friend's lowered, stock 240sx, than my friends modded mustang bullitt.

  • @colindyvig It still isn't remotely fun to drive for the people that are used to the lightweight cars though. Hopefully they'll find that simple suspension upgrades still wont match the capabilities of a lighter, and properly designed vehicle. I've driven the 2011 Mustang and it feels big and shows a lack of precision and control. Felt like it was still designed to laze around town.

  • @OokieCTRL ........you know it beat the M3 on the track right?

  • @steveeeeboi same with the s2k right?

  • @steveeeeboi True. But to be fair, the S2K wasn't designed to be a "dyno queen" (LOL) either. The driver of the NSX should have smoked the S2K easy...

  • @bourneyesterdayi

boils down to the small details to determine a winner sometimes

  • @bourneyesterdayi depending on the mods they have. theyre not stock
