I would have to place Gerald Collier on my list of those who are Forever Cool, which makes him among the likes of Jack Nicholson, Frank Sinatra, Chris Noth, and Dean Martin.
"Don't Discard Me" is easily one of my favorite songs of his. Though it will always take second fiddle to "Long Distance", "My Best Friend", "A Tale To Tell" (written by Danny Bland), and "Hell Has Frozen Over".
He used to be a regular customer at a Texaco station i worked at years ago, and he was the victim of a few pranks by me and my roommate...He's got an awesome sense of humor, and he's someone I've had the pleasure of knowing...One of the absolute coolest people one would ever meet...
