Great Video man, Thak you very much it is way batter than the erroneus and mundane power points shown by my rpfessor :). If all professors had your enthusiasm and ability to clearly expain, us college students would have a better learning experience
wow...i've been watching the videos about gas laws then i turn to the fifth video and i barely recognized you :)) thanks for the videos anyway. it helped me get through my senior year :))
You are absolutely right! And that makes the molar volume of a gas at this STP a whopping 22.7 L/mol. Now, many chemistry texts have not made the switch from STP and 22.4L/mol, so I guess that's why I'm still using this value! The truth of 22.4L/mol for 0oC and 1 atm doesn't become compromised, so that's the important thing, calculation-wise.
Awesome vids, gotta show them to my chem teacher tomorrow :)
You two have similar teaching styles and are both enthusiastic :P

I do. It's the combined gas law.

Quick question, How do you know zinc will replace the hydrogen?

Chemguy how did you get so old in one year? :(. You're the best chem teacher i know :)

Well, it's been about three years, actually, but hey...I dunno...I'm just, you know, human!

just curious, i think i brought this up with my chem teacher a few years back as well.
STP apparently has been remade into 100kPA instead of 1 ATM by the "international union of people who do applied chemistry" :P

yea np
i think standardized tests actually gives you these values on the test (ex. 0 C 1ATM) so its not a big deal at all.

Thanks. This made solution stoichiometry slightly easier for me. :)
More examples of these would be much appreciated. ^.^
