My favorite guilty pleasure related to martial arts is Jim Carey as a karate instructor on the old show In Living Color.
I watch that clip here on youtube at least a couple of times a year. "Like a lot of beginning students you attacked me wrong." lol gets me every time.
See, that was actually more interesting than the serious stuff. I wouldn't call it a "guilty pleasure", but that's your perspective. A folk singer once wrote "life is more than our work, and our work is more than our jobs". Your side hobby of engaging in the national discourse is important, but it's not everything.
