>>>The Ukay2, is a menace to our quality of life. it is one of the roots evil has had in our own backyard. Please give them back to where it really belong...
>>>the quality of our lives have been adversely affected by our own greed and disregard of moral responsibility. we've been brainwashed and corrupted by our own immorality. we swayed away from the duties of our own obligations, we no longer carry the torch of the future. as the chance of lifting up our country had already been abandoned by almost everyone of us. We became a proven tools of every imaginable flaw mankind has ever known. I am sorry if this is my description of my own as filipino.
>>>We are now a certified citizens branded as the second hand capital of the far east. we had the most used lives and equipments the world has ever known. 1.used military Hardwares, recycled computers, used home appliances, housing materials, educational tools, boats, buses and other land vehicles. used airplanes and air traffic equipments. even our citizens are being used as illegal couriers of illegal merchandise, and the irony, is that we allow these things to happen in front of us in daylight!
>>>these are several affected victims of ukay2 trading. Legitimate businesses, the real recipients, the donating public and the taxpayers.
and who are the benefactors of this illegal business? Groups masquerading as Charities, customs, traders and buyers.
What are the Consequences? deprivation of local manufacturers, deprivation to business opportunities, deprivation to legit business operators of their constitutional rights, low taxes revenues for the Government and the quality of our lives.>>>
>>>Fine, reject clothing from major manufacturers are not classified as used clothing. but somehow, it has become obvious part of the scam! is the governments from other countries involved? is the Philippine government involvement here be classified as distributors? well' probably! How long do we need to realize, that we are the only country in the world who have majority of its citizens loves to trumpet and propagate illegal immoral and corrupt activities.is this really the life we wanted?
>>>How these donated articles for the needy, ended up as business for others? wasn't it obvious that you still see those would be beneficiaries still naked? isn't it so obvious that until now, only the rag like clothing are being distributed to needy people who are supposed to be given priorities? these beneficiaries are the main victims of this greed. and the donating people were also being victimized and deceived by those who collect these used clothing, masquerading as legal charities. >>>
the truth about ukay2, is that we are depriving the supposed to be recipients of these used clothing. we've been wrangling about ukay2 in the senate and congress, but the sad truth is being looked over. selling and trading with these ukay2 garments is actually a crime punishable under the law. charities all over the world are known to collect used clothing intended for the impoverished people in poorest countries and as well as victims of disasters and calamities. >>>
