The main problem is the lad finished with his hands on his head which is known as 'velcro hair'. This is common fault with batsmen who do not extend cleanly though the shot and get their hands powering away from their head. It is often caused by an incorrect top hand (round the back of the bat) that shortens the top elbow (pulls it back in) or to the leg side of the head.
good technique demonstration but your head positioning at the stance is not good......more likely to fall over on offside which means your bat will come down from the slips.....your problems will be inswingers and you will be prone to lbw or bowled....
is this in the adelaide oval indoor nets?

Good exercise. The diameter of the yellow tee bases help prevent the batsman from placing his front foot too close to the line of the ball

personally prefer playing the on drive around my front pad, that way if it kicks up you can clip it through midwicket

the shot on the leg side is useless, not worth it, u mite as well play an early sweep shot, no ones going to charge up and play a leg side drive

@luicoco1458 if there is no fielders on the leg side u would.. its just a basic batting drill dude
