wow , super video! i think thatr the extention is a piece of an old boom...could you please tell me what kind of material you have used to attach the extention to the harness?
Great angle! I've talked with a friend about making this same kind of a backpack / scorpion tail mount for a 3'rd person POV. Excited to stumble across this video and see that it looks AWESOME! Good job!
@WalloonT he Gorge is great place play with great people, although winters here can drive you nuts...especially if your in that stage of life where you can't leave for warmer sunnier climates. But i have definitely set up my self to get the big days in the summer. In that I am living the dream! Come on! Move to the Gorge.
I was truly impressed, it has a unbelievable top end performance, a great loft when I'm in the air. i think I jump higher on it than the 4.2. My GPS is broken at the moment, but I'm sure the reduction in drag means faster reaches. This is definitely going to get a lot of use.
In the gorge 25-35 mph is a normal good day. I'm 165 lbs and I ride a 4.2 almost every time I sail. There are alot of 20-25 mph days with 4.5 , 5.0 conditions. As for the wind strength you just adapt to the smaller gear and bigger waves. It;s like skiing powder, frist it's hard then you love it and want more! Have fun!
I've been to the Gordge once before. Love the strong wind and the current moving against it!
