I own a 2008 BMW 528i Sport Package and that truly is one hell of a sedan. The Jaguar XF is one of the most beautiful looking sedans of the century. Frankly, they are rivals with different personalities. The BMW is simple a driver oriented car, where as the XF is something you look at and admire it like its a beautiful piece of art. Jaguar have picked up their game, but they are yet to reach to BMW standards. In my opinion, take that beamer to a track and relax your mind by taking the XF to work

I absolutely love my 530i. Its an amazing stylish looking simple design that really feels like a sports car when you drive.

I recommend the 5-series to anyone. It is the perfect car for many. Sporty performance, luxurious, modern features, fuel efficient (6cyl models), and a sharp looker! Got my E60 530i monthes ago and i am still excited every time i hop in the driver's seat

Think you might have made an error in doing that....you should try the new XF 5.0L. It leaves the BM in the dust. I test drove the 3.0L D XF also and it's outstanding but I wanted the supercharged XF.

I'm currently driving a 2008 550i. Although it's quiet and the brakes are good....I'm going to get a XF. My wife is embarrassed by the 550 looks and doesn't want it on the driveway. The XF is possibly the best looking car in the class but the one I test drove last week was just spectacular.

soooooo ugly...it looks like a truffle pig with flared up nostrils and raised ass...horrid looking inside and out...inside its bland and technology is still to catchup with lexus/infiniti (touchscreen, etc). jaguar xf is much better. hyundai genesis gives the same for a lot less (half the price)

i agree with you about the exterior...its horrid, the last generation was much better. but it will still out-drive any other sedan. Nothing, at least in my opinion, is "better."

Sorry it wasn't last years model it was this years. It was only the side impact rating that was marginal. All the other test result were good.
