Ooo i have a better idea tha works 100000%!!!!! Just buy an anti-glare 3x screen protector from ebay for only 1.99$ I HAVE THEM GUYS AND IS WORKING!!!!
Like many others, I found that the microfiber lining on the inside of the smart cover collects a substantial amount of oil from the iPad screen over time (yes, even clean fingers transfer some oil to the iPad screen, which culminates over time). I just found a product which does the job perfectly - a pre-packaged disposable degreaser kitchen wipe. Of course, be very gentle when rubbing. Grease gone.
I tend to just close the cover so the last flap (the magnetic part) slides from left to right, keeps my screen pristine when I don't have my microfiber cloth to hand. And @pjohnjr78 has a point, if you wash your hands a bit more often it will also benefit you in other areas of life ;)
By doing this, grime is eventually going to build up on the inside of the cover. Which will transfer onto the screen when it is closed. Simple solution: either use a stylus, and/or use a microfiber cloth to clean BEFORE closing the cover.
Oh, and CLEAN YOUR F-ING HANDS people! It's really not that hard.
Thank you so much, it worked, a big thumbs up to you
