03:28 - "Radio is the best way to contact aliens". I kind of have my doubts about that. Firstly, humanity is already moving away from open broadcasts. There's no reason to believe that an even more advanced society would still be using powerful transmitters. It's also unlikely that we'd find that many civilizations who are currently in that 100 year window.

@movieartman I loved the show then and still do! I was just a little taken aback by the fact that this one wasn't as well researched as some of the other ones. One of the things that I loved about it as a kid was that it was usually thinking more four dimensionally. It's still a great show though!

because everyone knows that retrieving a probe in 10 minutes is the ultimate goal of those concerned with efficiency. these are the same people who are obsessed with making a 1 hour trip in 53 minutes. it is man's destiny...

yeah, i don't get why you mentioned 10 minutes either dewkdogg. what are you referring to when you want to retrieve it so quickly? matter transportation perhaps?
