Masters and teachers worldwide demand from students not to wear any jewellry. Here we see a "master?" doing just that. Nor is the form done in the Ying style. only developing to Yang at moments of "impact." Those self appointed "masters" shoud not been taken seriously.
Very well done. I enjoy doing push hands. But I enjoy the one that is like a chess game. I can found tousands of clips showing people the check mate moves. But I can not found one clip, showing people actually playing a real game. There are people winning Championships in the name of Tai chi. Now I will be the first to say I have never learned Tai chi. That been said. Where are the people that learned the real Push hands and not the Championship version.
@HillardEarl My understanding of push hands is that it was used as a training method to train the chi for sensitivity and to Channel and direct the energy to different areas of the body. And that can only take place when the Chi is already cultivated.
@masterbakari That would explain, why there are no clips of people understanding the art of Push hands. Their chi is not cultivated. So would that mean a lot of people will never cultivate their Chi or understand the art of Push hands ?
@HillardEarl Well, most people have the wrong understanding about what "Push Hands" is about. They think that it is fighting and it is not. It is simply a training method [Drill] to help one to develop and advance their Tai Chi [Chi] and Combat techniques.
