I am a fellow Mormon with David. I recently taught a lesson to a High Priests group on the subject of charity. I used David as the prime example of charity, the pure love of Christ. Every one of us can use him as an example!
David the poor in countries outside india have even more of a need of attention. Wish you could have gone to Pakistan and Afghanistan. Not that going to india was a bad thing but india already gets attention 25/7 in the U.S. Thnk of the countries that don't get attention. Hope you are able to use your celebrity status to project a stoplight on those countries whose poor are Not getting media attention.
Why do you need to travel to India to help out poor people. There is crazy, mad poor people in the U.S. Many times these poor people live one town over or outside our high school's or colleges. It's just trendiness to say hey I went to India, China, or somewhere in South America to help out poor people, to teach kids how to read, It's disposable income trendiness, by posers looking to fill up their résumés. We have poor people lets help out our Poor people first.
I totally went to tamil nadu when I was in india too! Thats awesome that you got to go there! I hope you get the chance to go back and really serve some more. I plan on going back some day. India is an amazing country and the people are so filled with the spirit of God.

I just now donated a brick in my sister Diana's name, for the garden pathway in the kids' new school. To the kids there....it reads, "You're Beautiful." (It's only $50., which goes a long way in India !). If you can do it, then do it. It will matter. : )

I've been thinking a lot that you are gonna do epic things right there. I have seen some photos when you were at India, you were willing to help them. I just can't believe that you wanted to do those things. Because you are the first singer, artist, who wanted to do jobs like those. And I dont think you know this, but Youtube has extended the time limit for videos from 10 mins to 15 mins. so you dont have to worry about passing 10, just dont pass 15 lol
