@soshmed100 "FASTECH" has already retired in 2009. Because it was a prototype trainset developed as a technology research and speed trial testing. "E5 series" has continued to launch mass production in March of the current operation. "E5 series" has been good use of test data obtained in this "FASTECH". In the future alltrains will be used for Touhoku-Shinkansen "E5 series" likely to be replaced.Reserved-seat car "Glan Class" is a very luxurious interior. It'll be a premium tickets !

@iQeeen これはあくまでも技術開発用の試作車両という位置づけなので、営­業運転に供されることは無い車両なんです。すでに退役して廃車さ­れています。その代わり、この車両の長期にわたるテストで得られ­たデータは、後のE5系や、「FASTECH360Z」で得られ­たデータを共有する形でE6系の開発に生かされたというわけです­。

420ぐらい目指して欲しい。でも、騒音基準はクリアできないだ­ろうし、東北新幹線はそんなに需要ないから、その高速運転には経­済合理性はないね。

高速にする場合、架線の張力を上げたりで大幅なアップグレードが­必要になるし、安全性の担保も問題だよね。地震が起きたらひっく­り返るかも。
