i'm from townsville, where this happened, the people in our justice system don't count as australian. they don't even want to give a murderer life imprisonment, this is all because they're terrified of pissing people off. they can't do that, let alone execute someone who deserves it.
The prosecutor keeps ignoring that Watson was a trained Rescue diver. That means he was trained to bring unconscious divers to the surface. The big question is how did Tina Watson become unconscious in the first place? Watson had it well calculated that by the time she would be brought to the surface it would be too late to revive her.
