  • One of the first 5 78's I bought when I started collecting! Still a timeless classic to me!

  • @CrisVangel1958 its a great recording I think Johnny Ace's version is the best of all them

  • Oh man I love this song. I would love this record.

  • @danielmkubacki it is a great recording too bad Johnny Ace died not too long after

  • Johnny Ace (June 9, 1929 – December 25, 1954), born John Marshall Alexander, Jr. in Memphis, Tennessee, was an American rhythm and blues singer. He scored a string of hit singles in the mid-1950s before dying of an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound

  • Great song! I also have this on a 45, but it featured an overdubbed chorus. There were two different versions of the song. One is the original, and the second with an additional chorus. The song was featured in "Christine".

  • @WCPR1620AM how cool I didnt know that about the Chorus

  • @Westtoledoguy I will have to look up my 2 45's and see if either have that

  • @Westtoledoguy Yes! I just posted a while back when I played a 45 of the same song, but it had a chorus being overdubbed.
