I cant understand how employers are allowed NOT to hire people who have a criminal conviction, when there are laws that say you are not allowed to discriminate against people who are gay, a different race or who are disabled. Those employers discriminated against him because he had a criminal record. Does no one else see this double standard???

i do, its like in many southern states convicted criminals are not allowed to vote even after they have served their sentence. This is policy brought in by republicans to prevent themselves losing power there.
