Did that dungeon and boss easily on iPhone with them: Luneth lv56 (Warrior), Arc lv56 (Devout), Refia lv55 (Ranger), Ingus lv57 (Knight). Maybe it's a lot harder on DS, but I don't know
@combustion43 I am playing on iphone. Maybe it helps when you know how to use it, but I didn't need it the whole time. The only trouble for me were one Xande clone (Knight outstalled him alone though with Elixirs) and Cloud itself when I had to use Arise nearly every single time.
here's a story: i just finish'd FF1 on the NES via VC, a friend lend me his FF3 for DS, it just toke me to see the screen transition and the "spell charge-instead of mp" system at the begining to feel stuck and sick already, i still fell desperate whenever i attack a foe with the four members and dies on the first hit (thanks god the target select isn't the classic style and there's no more bugged spells) but after chaos' cur4 x 3 times when in the last leg i think it can't be that bad
better ninja devout black belt and summoner (summoners are way stronger than maguses they have less mp for the strongest moves but its far more devastating)
I had luneth as blackbelt, refia and arc as devouts and ingus as ninja. I was fighting for a long time and I thought I would be close to the end. Some who I failed and I had to restart. I was like fuck this and never finished the game.
...Hey guys. c: Open two tabs of this and start them as close to each other as you can. This sounds like really crazy but at the same time really cool.
Retro FTW!!! Also, every FF final boss theme is supposed to have an epic part, like FFI has the part where is does the standard enemy theme for a few seconds and FFIV has the part with the four fiends theme. This does not.
this is just the NES theme with a little modern taste to it, and by the way I heard someone could do a hack on the final boss so that you could control its attacks. but that's just a rumor
@Lockerdown3 I dont remember fighting any other bosses in the end dungeon other than the cloud thing, which I keep losing to. are there also 4 other bosses in the end dungeon?
@DasMakNT um yea, they weaken the cloud a bit if you defeat them (it only took me a couple tries after that :P), but do not use that center warp (which is the first thing you see...) until you do so, that would be the problem I bet
yes, theres four bosses from FF1, destroying them weakens the cloud of darkness i guess (i do it because theres ribbons hidden that'll make you immune to any status changes thatre bad for you and i REALLY dont know if the cloud of darkness is even defeatable before you do that, its because she does 9999 in the fight before hand that i dont know if its just for the show or not)
I wasn't properly prepared. It's not a matter of grinding levels; it's a matter of grinding job levels. Some of my job levels were really low. My Devout had a job level of 40, and my Ninja had a job level of 30. She's easy if you grind your job levels up...
Because I didn't intentionally grind them. I just went through and got to the final boss. Also, I accidentally saved over my save file, so I had to start over...>:(.
I know. I was so tired of repeating the final dungeon from losing to Cerberus that I wanted to get it over with. Also, I've heard people beat her with a Devout at job level 26.
heres a useful tip: Max out the dragoon because when the dragoon is maxed out the jump command does over 9999 but heres where it tricks you, jump will do something like 30.000 but it will still only say 9999.
Yeah, Devouts are better. They are the most powerful magical class. The Sage used to be the best magical class until the DS version, which made the Sage slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.

The final dungeon in part 3 was the easiest final dungeon ever!
LucarioXMaster 2 years ago
Not really... I think the easiest final dungeon would have to be FFV's. I'm not counting Shinryu and Omega, as they are completely optional...

Cloud of Darkness is hard. She's making the game not fun because I have to keep repeating the final dungeon.
JenovaMember 3 years ago 2
Amen to that.
MetalShadowX 3 years ago
I think Cloud of Darkness is one of the easiest final bosses in the history of FF.
Still takes me over 10 minutes though due to me just sitting there listening to the cool final boss music.

JenovaMember 3 years ago
You should never rush through a Final Fantasy game because you'll only get stuck and have to restart your data from scratch.
Dont worry though as this time you know what to expect and you also know what your doing.
stevieFFmaster 3 years ago
I know. I was so tired of repeating the final dungeon from losing to Cerberus that I wanted to get it over with. Also, I've heard people beat her with a Devout at job level 26.
JenovaMember 3 years ago
Yeah i guess it is possible to do that but i've noticed that nearly 100% of the people who have done that have used cheats so...
stevieFFmaster 3 years ago
Yeah, that was my mistake. Well, I know what I'm doing now :D.

stevieFFmaster 3 years ago

JenovaMember 3 years ago
another useful tip: have two white mages in your party that have a job lv99
stevieFFmaster 3 years ago
Aren't Devouts better? My plan for my new team will be:
Knight, Summoner, Devout, Dragoon.
or
Knight, Sage, Devout, Dragoon/Summoner.
JenovaMember 3 years ago
Good job combinations and im not sure about devouts as i havent been on the game in a couple of years now.
stevieFFmaster 3 years ago
Yeah, Devouts are better. They are the most powerful magical class. The Sage used to be the best magical class until the DS version, which made the Sage slooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.

at the moment im playing FF4 on the DS and it dont help that ive only completed FF3 the once and that was years ago now.
