actually its better than you think. that was right after i built it and the gas was almost out. not to mention i hadnt learned how to use it yet. i can now shoot flames just like everett's

no, theres just a wire i touch to the fuel pipe to complete the high voltage disposable camera circuit

Glad to see it works. 300V won't arc very far--are you pushing contacts together to get the spark?

it doesnt go very far but its enough to catch the gas on fire. ive sodered one contact of the capacitor to the copper tube where my gas comes out at and another to a 1 1/2 inch wire that ive glued to a plastic ring on my middle finger. so when i bend my middle finger into my hand so that the wire touches the tube while throttling the gas i get a flame
