@TheReapersToll Yeah right. NO WAY you're folding quads. After Phillips raises, you AT LEAST call. Chances are he's got either a flush or maybe a full house. Or even a total bluff. No way to fold quads though.
@PowerfrogsBeotch There are millions of hands dealt at each World Series. There are hundreds of tournaments each year. Not to mention all the cash games that go on in hundreds of casinos non stop. So I'm sure there have been billions of hands dealt since poker was first invented. :-)

stupid play of the asian guy. When you have AA you all in after the first flop or on the turn card. You do not wait untill your opponent hit flush or straight.
That's the way I'd go out...on the mathematically most improbable hand in the game. I hit the worst rivers consistently. And um, he's a good man for not flipping out, I would have been uncontrollably mad lol. Children would have died to say the least.
no way you wud have folded it!! wasnt that obvious really he just re-raised if it were me i wud have thought he had made a flush! not a royal flush wud Never see that coming! no1 wud have
It's even more funny than finding a lottery ticket on the street and winning $2 million with it... It must not be funny for the guy with quad aces but for the Royal Flush guy and everyone else it was extremely funny! If you can't see why you're one boring maniac... :p
Mabuchi is a donk. I would've easily folded quads there.

1 in 2.7 billion chance. I highly doubt a fraction of that many poker hands have been played in the world ever, much less on video.
You guys say his everyone loves raymond reference was stupid, i thought it was hilarious. (Even though he failed it, you know what he meant.)

Why does Phillips stand after showing his Royal Flush???
Seems like an ass move to me.
kmcook01 2 years ago
It doesn't matter. He insta-called so everyone at the table knows that he thinks he has the best hand - no one is expecting him to lose.

This year Main Event Day 1a even worse: Patrick Danzer loses with straight flush to Christian Jeppsson's Royal flush.
8h9h vs. KhQh on a 5s7hAhThJh board.
But no bad beat here, cos KQ was ahead all the way.
Cameras were around, I read. I wonder when this one will show up on youtube.
