@TheConciseStatement As a black female and an avid LOVER of Idris Elba I will say this...Ruth Wilson is gorgeous and awesome and I cheered her after watching Jane Eyre a favorite book of mine. the movie was brilliant and i would not have it any other way for this television series. Not to mention the fact that I am a major fan of hers as well. 'Black Female Psychos'? I've seen enough of them. Bring on Ruth Wilson. She makes the show more interesting.

A fantastic series; Ruth Wilson is mind-blowing as Alice, and Idris breathes life into the detective genre single-handedly.

These two characters playing off one another make for riveting viewing, and there MUST be a 2nd season! At least! :)

ALICE ROCKS. She is so chilling and innocent. THe breathey way she speaks that elongates her words, it is sexy and scary at the same time. She is the perfect foil to Luther, i keep thinking of Christopher Nolan's the Dark Knight, the relationship between Batman and the Joker. I have not seen this series in full but OMG it loos so freakin' good!!!!!

she is right tho, murder isn't plain and simply murder she killed her parents for whatever reason, he left a killer\pedophile (im not sure what the first guy did) to die and the guy they are talking about kidnaps women and drinks their blood, so for him to ask her if she can get close to him isnt a good idea as they are still different people

It's so annoying she killed her parents, I love the character of Alice. How awesome was she in the final episode, it was EPIC!! Not sure how the writers did it, but her character seems so unique! I find it uncomfortable liking the character, bt cant help it.

She is a black hole. She draws and destroys, absorbs everything but gives nothing. Devoid of heat relying on him for warmth, for light.
