I accessed this mainly for the music. I thought the dancing was charming. Those people who posted negative comments affirms that everyone has an asshole. Dance is a very, very difficult art form. I applaud anyone who tries.
This staging is a little different than what I know. This is one of the first solos I performed with Compania Nacional de Danza. The tempo for somethings was fast .

@mindsstalker Thank you for offering your opinion. I'm so happy that the directors of the 5 major ballet companies I ended up dancing in as either a soloist or principal dancer, after I left ballet school didn't have the same opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok, this guy is amazing and u all should back off regarding the damn choreography. Ballets that are copyrighted like Balanchine and Robbins and blah blah blah STILL look different on EVERY company. It happens...let's get over it!!! haha
Hi Ramon, I guess you taught the Drummer Boy solo if not the whole ballet. As in my post I have no need to re iterate my knowledge of that ballet. I have danced it from age 12 and I have no need to post a copy. Just saying that the Choreography is mostly wrong. I have been coached in it by Vassily Trunoff and Irene Baronova. You see this is how ballets get lost in translation, because they are put on by people who don't know........get my drift.
I don't know who staged this but it is not the right choreography. My teacher was second cast to Lichine with Ballet Russe and I have danced it in Festival Ballet and Australian Ballet,,,Sorry bad copy!

Don't be sorry, you're entitled to your opinion. It would be great if you could be more specific though. Exactly why is he so bad as a dancer?

PDEASS, It is Mme. Irina Baranova...NOT Irene Baranova. Watch your inaccurate mouth.
