this made me remeber how i wanted to be a life affirming jesus following christian, and could not seem to get support for such hippie ideals in the church. people who can become offended when you pray for peace on your enemies, have surely got things confused. I have no problem with the teachings of many religion founders, but it takes another type altogether to reinterpret things to support their selfish evils.
america will not be the strongest country in the world forever.. america like to believe that america IS the strongest nation.. but thats how every country believe or wants to... america will fall.. its not the christians.. its destiny.. stop talking about how you think you know or think you know whats right or wrong.. YOU ARE JUST PART OF THE CREATION.. nothing more.. just shut up already..
I agree with you 100% again, good videos man, keep up the good work, these christians fucks don't use their reasoning abilities and their abilities to think and see what the fuck is going on right here on earth, instead their heads are in the clouds closing off there minds to shit man. i'm so fucking annoyed theses bumb jesus freak assholes are the real ignorant ones (brainwashed) if you will. blind faith is bull shit hence the term blind means, can't see things for what they truly are.
The christians who you talk about, I don't consider them as Christians, because they are hypocrites of the philosophy they claim to be apart of. These 'christians are so unlike christ. So agree with you on that point. As for Hillary, she's not Bush 2.0. McCainn is Bush 2.0. But I'm not saying that hillary is completely unlike Bush either.
Well said. I couldn't agree more. There seems to be too much hate in the world today as far as the wars go and there needs to be change for the better to make the world a more peaceful society.
yea there was this article about the bush/clinton dynasty and how they're secretly working together the last 20 somtin yrs of the US has been ruled by either the clintons or bushes and if hilary win WOW!!
i think there's somtin we dont know abt this whole presidential thing
I think that it might be because they(the christian drones) get use to the false idea of an "all loving" and/or "all protecting" authority that is their god character; that they fall for the same fallacy whenever a persons or organization comes around claiming to have their best interests at heart. Of course just like everything in their religion; they believe without any verification. ★★★★★
I'm as frustrated as you are and I'm a Christian AND from Iowa! And please understand that not all those who believe in "God" (national polls say over 80%) are necessarily Christians. Let's be honest, "God" could mean ANY-thing to ANY-one. cont............
Besides, since when do voters in this country vote based on truth? Most decide based on "the truth" as told by the media. Instead of spittin' venom, try educating them, befriending them, etc. Be diplomatic, as Mr. Paul would put it. Believe me, getting down on "Christians", whether they really are or not, is NOT something we want to do.
I am a Christian and I find myself agreeing with everything you said although if you are actually trying to change someone's view cussing and insulting them wont do the trick.
But again I find myself totally agreeing with the main point you are making. I have never been so ashamed to be an evangelical Christan as I was the night of the Iowa caucus. VOTE for a REAL CHRISTIAN named RON PAUL for REAL CHANGE!!
I don't intend to change anyone with this video, it was more of a late-night vent to get the frustration that I have out. I gave $200 to Ron Paul because I'll do anything to avoid another Authoritarian in office and I was just crushed when Huckabee, the most extreme and intolerant GOP candidate, won Iowa.
dont loose hope, it may seem as if this is just about the elections but Dr. Paul's message will persist even if he looses the election, and that is more important.
I grew up in a Christian family and I can honestly say I noticed the lack of common sense of those around me even as a child. How can anyone believe every word in the Bible with no proof it wasn't conjured up by con men, yet they would choose to let their leaders ignore the constitution of their home land even though we have the original with all the signatures! Many even say it's old and obsolete. I am disturbed by what I see my christian friends and neighbors doing as well.
"eat meat all the time" Your credibility just went out the door with most of the country! Go, Meat eaters annonymus! Denominational churches seem to be more authoritarian than the non-denominational churches I have attended. Organized religion sucks, too! That includes Baptists!
I guess I did not hear it correctly then SORRY!! I think one of the first acts of Huck would be to ban smoking. I know, it is bad. But, is this not still a free country? Even free to be stupid? I am not a smoker. But, I see this as just another crazy idea from the nanny state! Black market cigarettes! Or, going to jail for smoking or selling cigs!
There have been sad times in history that blood was shed in the name of Christ, but that is not the way of Jesus. Study the Bible, and you will see. The 20th century was the bloodiest century in history, and it was fueled by Atheism (Marxism, etc.) As for American evangelicals, I think that they believe that America's material prosperity is evidence of God's favor. It is sad. Vote for Ron Paul, a Christian who believes in peace.
Get a grip. The wars of the 20th century were not fought in the name of atheism. In fact, Hitler vastly employed religious ideology in Nazism. Their belt-buckles even said "God With Us". Don't turn a century of blood into this simple rhetoric.
I really did believe at one time that it was a vast conspiracy that brought us Bush Jr as President..it was obvious to me he was clueless. But when he was re-elected and people around me were thrilled about it, nearly worshiping him, I saw with my own eyes how these people NEEDED him. They are the same sort of people who don't read...people who read are smarter than those who don't.
Tina Fey once said of the 30-or-so % of people who still support Bush, "they believe Adam and Eve rode dinosaurs to church on Sunday." It seems there are some who are willing to believe anything and, oddly enough, to be dogmatic about it. Good video.
I think anyone thats willing to believe in Christianity is prone to believe in just about anything. Isn't that obvious? These people believe in walking on water, turning water into wine, and other fairy tale ideas
Have you read Chris Hedges book American fascists? It seems like you have, or it may answer your questions.
I am in the same boat as you, and think the exact same thing.
I think Christians have a strong link with authoritarianism because Christians want a strong central leader (like Christ) who will save them from all possible problems. They want a God-man to come back and save them.
As for the link between death and religion, I beleive it just depends on the motivations of the leader of the flock. If they already have power, they will play the fear and death card to keep power. If they want money or wealth, they will play the equality card, (pls give to help others type of thing). So it just depends on what the leader of the flock wants.
I think it would be more accurate to say they are looking for someone to PROTECT them. If they were looking for someone to save them, they would obviously be voting for Ron Paul.

Ask them if they know what's totalitarism and authoritarism. Hm.. I wonder if they know in detail what it actually is..heh

Some of the problem is poverty and ROTC. We
didn't have that in WWII, and you saw more value based action then.

Great video, great anger, sometimes you have to get angry to change things. I think there are two parts to this problem.
1. Christianity, like many religions, values blind faith and devotion to ideas not based on logic.
2. Politicians recognize that religion is above debate so they use it to gain power, to deceive people, and to protect themselves from dissent.
Thanks for supporting Ron Paul, we really need someone like him right now.

I don't think you are exaggerating.
This country is fucked because of the ridiculously high numbers of christians (especially protestants) as compared to other countries.
I'm honestly gonna consider moving to another country if Huckleberry or Romney are elected.
By the way, have you heard much about Fred Thompson? I heard he's even further right than huck. Thompson should seriously just go back to acting.

Google Zeitgeist!
Beliefs are easier to come by than knowledge.
Knowledge requires critical thought which I saw little of when I attended church as a child. It was why I left the church at 14.
I am spiritual but have abandoned religion.
I know a lot of people on the liberal side that are as blindly devoted to their cause.
Your speech can easily be applied to both sides. Blind faith in party, blind faith in religion. What is the difference? Peace
