I've heard many people say so, but then again I never trust the average gamer, 'cause the average gamer worships all CoD games made after MW1, and it makes me wonder if they're drones of some sort. This is the same average gamer who paid NO interest whatsoever to the Timesplitters series, which are games that deserve their own religion, and also from Free Radical. I'm not a huge fan of arcade FPS games, and gameplay-wise, this looks like above average.

Nothing close to that of Timesplitters 3 of course, which has the absolute best dialogue and characters in any fictional scripture ever written!!!!!

ok i have the PS3 version, when it tells you to steal his gun he isn't there, he is on the stair case to the right and it won't let me get to him. its clipped and i can't get near him, i reloaded the game a bunch of times and it still hasn't fixed it.

Actually I think all the campness and macho bullshit earlier was part of the buildup for it. A lot of reviewers were too stupid to realize that maybe that "bad acting" was actully quite good acting (I mean.. in reality a moronic private cracking jokes sounds like a bad actor, rather than bruce willis) and created good extreme against the revelation later on. The makers wanted you to think your squadmates are bit dull in the beginning. I think this games plotline kicks ass. Shame about gameplay.

I agree that they tried to tackle a helluva lot to deal with storywise, but i think they came up really good. I mean, the actors are good in my opinion and genuine deliver that pumped up macho footballplayer "teamwork yo!" feeling that probably really is nessecary in such situations. And I see no point making them nice people who then do atrocities, they're soldiers who do what they do because it's they're job, only now drugged to make them accept work thats immoral..

and to me the whole cool point about it is that your character really doesn't make the decision to switch sides becouse he likes or dislikes some of the NPC's,but becouse he runs out of the drug and sees what actually is happening versus what other's think what is happening..I genuelly first thought duvall "seemed like a nice guy" though =)but the point about mind altering propaganda and drugs is that it changes your view of world and sometimes makes you intolerant towards other not viewing same

but by no means i think it's "the greatest game ever" but becouse they had something cool going with the story they could have taken elements and possibilities from it to the gameplay and it would've actually been something else than "just another FPS" gameplaywise. But I think these guys could do a great game someday.

the voice acting in the game is great. Some people think the SCRIPT is poor but its meant to show you the diffrences and similarities between Mantel, Rebels and You. It does a great job of you questioning if your on the right side to not just the character on the screen.
