  • If the American Government thinks it has the right to police the world maybe the world should get to vote for the American President!!! I'm not seriously suggesting this before anyone has a go at me. But if this was the case he would be elected because he is the only Presidential candidate that commands respect around the world. For goodness sake how Sarah Pleb and Bush could ever even be considered to run a country over this guy is beyond belief RON PAUL for President, from Ireland.

  • Most people do not even know the difference between a Republic and a Democracy and so they think we were always intended to be a Democracy, that is so wrong.... look it up! I am so glad that ABC has been more fair to Ron Paul than the other news networks, I have read several decent articles about him and now this...

  • I'm Spanish and I wish we had someone like him here...!! you're so lucky, vote him!

  • I have to say this might be the fairest interview I've ever seen regarding Ron Paul. Good job, Terry, for giving him a chance to explain himself completely and not put your ideology in the interview.

  • bring back competition!!!

  • Amazing Interview! :D

  • Such a humble and honest man, it will be an honor to call him President Ron Paul in 2012.

  • I really don't like this interviewer.

  • View a ron paul debate objectively without prior stigma and bias, and you'll see he slaughters everyone with hard logic and opposes contemporary collective attitudes that are driving our nation bankrupt.

  • I believe you will never find a more genuine man in Congress than Ron Paul.

  • the lady is full of it. people do get wealthy without the government or "collective" HELP. no one helped me.., those roads were there... most roads back in the day were stolen from farmers and native migration trails. you don't need paved roads, railroads or anything to make money. these are blatent lies.

  • To that Warren comment, it's always funny that socialists say roads are a socialist concept. Even though roads have been around for thousands of years, because of markets, and long before socialism was even dreamed of.

  • @Venturestarx

    ROFL!

Yes, let's move products from coast to coast on dirt. Or lets have raods exist based on profit and see how far we go. Holy shit.

  • The Best 16 minutes you'll spend on any candidate. The man speaks so honestly that he does not have to think about what he feels, or tell a lie to appease anyone. The toughest question was "what was the worst job , or job you hated the most?" He didn't have one, he appreciated EVERY job he learned from. Watch the other interviews, it is easy to tell the puppets from the human realist (Constitutionalist) - Anyone else, and we die. WAR is not jobs.

  • @HyperWeeds amen brother! Ron Paul is the ONLY one who can defeat Obama! We just have to convince the neo-cons that he CAN WIN! Ron Paul will audit AND End the Fed! He will abolish the income tax! he will end the foolish Wars! Spread the Word!

  • France doesn't have a private air traffic control. Google it.

  • @TheTruthBToldShow

Your entire argument comes from anger and ignorance. You have no idea what you're talking about but, even if you did, nobody would pay any attention to you because you can't write a sentence without profanity and insult. Nearly everything you say is factually incorrect and provably so. Since you can't actually form a coherent argument, it's obvious that any counter-point wouldn't be understood by you, if even read.

  • Ron Paul is the ONLY Presidential Candidate that can beat President Obama in 2012 and the media is scared! They are going to ask stupid questions and try to get Ron Paul to stumble over his words but I believe Ron Paul will triumph in VICTORY! You have my vote in 2012 Dr. Paul

  • Excellent interview! We need Ron Paul...

  • Born free!!

  • DARK FENGHUANG HAS ARRIVED!!

  • questions at the end are so fucking dumb! Thats the media just dumbing down America! Ron Paul 2012!

  • From what I can tell by googling, France's air traffic controllers are state employed.

I'm sure some intellectual lightweight like Warren or Krugman will attack Paul for this.

I believe he meant France's private highways.

  • 7:15

Yep, they are still being protected. Is that why Paul voted against Dodd-Frank? Is that why Paul has not come up with legislation to protect us against those banks?

Get fucking real. There's a reason why he's running as a republican, BECAUSE HE IS ONE! Whether he's too crazy to see it, or counting on his supporters to be just as crazy, his ideas will only empower large companies and the wealthy.

  • @TheTruthBToldShow

You do realize Ron Paul has fought against special interest, both social AND corporate, for thirty years straight? You do realize he is vehemently opposed against corporatism and has always acted and voted in such a way. Ron Paul was against bails outs and handouts to big companies when their bets went wrong three years ago. You do realize that don't you? You do realize almost all his contributions come from public donations, not from from big banks, who supported B.O.

  • @jccusell

You do realize all of that little defense of Paul goes in the crapper when he supports taking power from the fed and giving it to the smaller, just as corrupt, state governments.

  • @TheTruthBToldShow you do realize you can go knock on the door of your mayor or governor. you think you are going to do that at the fed level? wake up son. learn American history and study Germany before WWI.

  • @jbkibs

Oh the comedy you false-patriots bring me.

Yeah, I can go right up to the door of my mayor, in my small town, that has no pull over huge corporations. NEXT! I can go walk to my governor's door? Really? He'll let me right in and we'll sit down for a chat? Get real. Its the year 2011. I can communicate with Obama as well as I can communicate with my governor.

Not even gonna touch your weak attempt at Obama administration = the start of the nazi-esque movement.

  • @TheTruthBToldShow well, you can talk to your governor and mayor. I have talked to my governor... If you don't like large disconnected cities... move to a less expensive smaller town... why do you buy stuff from corporations you don't support? take some control of your life... the nazi-esque movment started way before Obama. 1913 was the start of our slavery. so you think fed is better than local huh? that is even more crazy... smallest government is best for freedom and liberty... state > fed

  • @jbkibs

Keep living in a fantasy world where governors are approachable by the mainstream.

Keep living in a fantasy world where your local and state governments aren't just as messed up and corrupted as the fed

Keep telling people to "take some control of your life" when you know ZERO about them.

  • @TheTruthBToldShow your solution?

  • @jbkibs

Get the wealthy, the corporations, and the religion out of our government. That'll big the biggest boost. Start there.

The fed is fucked, I just don't follow the line of thinking where abolishing it and handing power to the states helps us.

  • @TheTruthBToldShow well i agree with you... that does need to happen, but doesn't discount that state and local is far more important to YOU than federal... unless you are a federal employee. And i think you are confused when Ron Paul says "End the Fed", he is talking about the Federal Reserve bank... it needs to be in the hands of the "US Treasury", as defined in our Constitution. no one wants to "end the federal government", well.. not Most. ;P

  • @jbkibs

State and local is more important to me on state and local issues. There are, though, issues that are not held within state borders. With those issues, the federal gov't is the most important.

And, no, I am not confused about Paul's "ending the fed". That's exactly what he wants to do in, at least, 5 major ways, as he explained himself. In many ways you could swap federal reserve for federal government in that "end the fed" statement.

  • @TheTruthBToldShow You "can" swap it if you want, but it then just becomes propaganda. Ron has been fighting to End the Fed (reserve) since it left the Gold Standard. And those "Departments" he wants to end, Need to be ended. It is not the governments job to control lives or steal money and give it to "Groups" they deem "worthy". that is what churches, charities, friends and family is for. the governments job is to protect individual liberties, our borders and rule by constitutional law.

  • @TheTruthBToldShow It prevents a private orginization from collecting interest on the creation of money ensuring that their is more debt in the system than wealth. When this happens you cannot pay back the debt and the bank makes an agreement with the country to give away a % of the labor of its citizens. You are working 10-30% slave labor for a bank to print money. That is why it was put into our constitution that debt can only be paid with gold and silver. It was to prevent economic enslavement

  • @jbkibs Not. Have fun not getting mail service in rural areas if you vote for "small govt." Small govt nowadays means giving corporations free reign to rule over Americans.

  • @PillyAndGirl so, the pony express never existed huh?... you do know it is the governments job to protect our individual liberties, defend our constitution and protect our borders. that is it. everything else is up to "The People". that is how we got where we are... what governmental Womb were you born from? :P what happens if a corp becomes tyrannical? now, what happens when the government becomes tyrannical. there is a HUGE diff... you can take out a corp EASIER than a federal government.

  • @jbkibs The 1% has trained you well. Turn over your freedom, rights, money to the corporations in the name of "free market", "liberty", and "constitution". You have been taught to worship business, hate govt. Your interpretation of Constitution is dead wrong.

  • @PillyAndGirl oh. ok, thanks. the government is the answer to all problems. did you not read my previous statement? no one said there would be 0 laws or regulations... we need limited government, you are an extremist. And my interpretation of what part of the Constitution? Corporations (people who sell goods and services) do no put guns to your head to buy goods or services, The government, has and continues to do so daily. when is the initiation of force upon another justified to you?

  • @PillyAndGirl honestly though, who REALLY forces you to hand over your money to them? Corporations or Governments? the government is supposed to protect our freedom, liberty, our individual constitutional rights and our borders. If a corporation was "stealing your freedom, rights and property", the government would own them to the ground. that is their job. as for "handing it over" that is total bs. you do not hand over your freedom, rights or property, it's your Right and Duty to protect them.

  • @jbkibs Good job man, But it's very difficult to change some people's mindset. I have the same arguments with liberal family members with the same outcome, they turn to extremism's and demagoguery. It's almost impossible to tell someone today that to much democracy will kill a nation. If people don't at least read why and how our constitution came to be, they will never really get a handle on whats happening today Peace to all.

  • No one said that there would be 0 regulations or laws. why do people go to such extremes? This is the 21st century, not the 19th. I'm Rural, I have 98% of my mail electronic, bills, notes, etc... only netflix and junk mail comes via public postal service. UPS and FedEX are cheaper and more efficient...

Do you just keep paying DirectTV even though they are ripping you off because the government hasn't said anything about it yet? the government violates more rights than any corporation ever has.

  • @TheTruthBToldShow he's running as a republican because 3rd party candidates aren't allowed on ballots within all states... some states only allow republican and democrat on theirs...

  • @jbkibs And this is the American way, HOW? United WE stand, Divided WE fall!!!! WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!

  • ROFL! Like at him all flustered @ 5:39 by the reality of Warren's words.

Yeah, kick it back to the one railroad company. Guess we forget the whole highway system here.

"Who is the government?" ITS ME, you fuckwad. Its all of us.

  • Wholly Cow!! Ron Paul just flip-flopped!!!

On National TV he just flat out Flip-Flopped on a critical National issue!

iPhone vs. Blackberry has been a hot issue for a number voters over the recent years. When asked in the first debate, Ron Paul chose Blackberry, but when asked again later he chooses the iPad?

Wow, John Stewart is going to be so proud of Ron!! This is exactly the type of campaign controversy we needed.

  • @DONOVANDANNA This is the type of things the media dwells on. The non-important stuff. The media continues to worship Obama and the Democratic party even in the midst of complete failure.

  • Ron Paul is a great great man!

  • We are living in the age of Ron Paul. This is history in the making.

  • how to register republican for Ron Paul! /watch?v=TxXWgwAxfUw

  • Why are all these so called news agencies, ask him if he gonna run as a 3rd party. If this doesn't show people all our news comes from 1 source and controlled.

  • this guys got some guts callin out all these banksters!!!! good stuff, he'll tell the truth in the face of his own critics with no remorse....not a bad grin or smudge on this guys face... this is why i like ron paul.... someone give me a name of a potential GOP candidate who speaks with so much truth and fact! a republican should know what the party really stands for, the other "3" candidates represent only a fraction of what a true republic stands for, ron paul is all or none, time to face

  • It's not enough to say "Vote Ron Paul"

PEOPLE NEED TO SWITCH PARTIES 12 WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE PRIMARIES IN MOST STATES.

IF YOU DO NOT SWITCH IN TIME YOU CANNOT VOTE IN PRIMARY.

IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED REPUBLICAN YOU CANNOT VOTE IN PRIMARY.

IF RON PAUL DOES NOT WIN PRIMARY, NO GENERAL ELECTION ! REGISTER AS A REPUBLICAN. FIND OUT WHEN YOUR STATE HAS PRIMARIES. FIND OUT WHERE AND VOTE VOTE VOTE ! PLEASE !

WE NEED EVERY LAST VOTE ! Copy and paste this everywhere

  • Ron Paul's a MOTHERFUCKING Ancap

  • Chocolate cookies!!!!!!!!!! Ron Paul that's the first thing that came to my head. You truly are down to earth like us.

  • Ron Paul 2012 for Liberty, Peace, sound currency, limited Constitutional govt and a non interventionist foreign policy!

  • Another Interviewer that is a totally cluless tool..........Why are those in the media always so cluless to the truth???

  • @jonniebakstix And of course, there is only one version of "truth", right? And you guys have a lock on it, right? Arrogant much?

  • Register Republican to vote for Ron Paul in Republican primaries. That's simple to do!

  • WOW ~ POWERFUL!

  • the ONLY man with enough brains to run the country...........R P

  • Born free Mr. President.

  • What can one say? How can people not vote for Ron Paul?

    .

    Heres his theme song:

    .

    watch?v=zStIm0gNnUw

  • @jakesteel1 Uh...because his ideas are delusional? Probably that.

  • @Bartleby1701

    .

Please tell us about some of your "delusional" ideas to solve our country's problems.

  • Kick the liars and cheaters out. Leave the HONEST people alone. Sounds like common sense to me. Good point Ron.

  • he is such an amazing person.

  • Democrats and Independents can vote for Ron Paul in the Republican primaries if they simply register as a Republican. Please, do not think you cannot do anything if you are a Democrat or Independent, just change your party for the election and then you can vote for Ron Paul!

  • ron paul is my political hero

  • 4:10

GO REGISTER AS A REPUBLICAN!!! This election is worth it. even if you call yourself a democrat, independent or other.

  • "We need to separate the crony bankers from those rich who produce goods consumers want"

I was saying this as soon as Occupy Wallstreet popped up. Yet another reason I can say I'd walk over glass to vote Ron Paul.

  • Great interview, intelligent questions, sufficient time to respond. Respectful. I liked it. RON PAUL 2012!!

  • ZIONIST SHILLS.

    SEE...

    iamthewitness. c o m

  • good interview, Ron Pauls keeps pointing out the real problems that we are facing and how to fix them. All the rest just talk about what sounds good and have very little substance.

  • I hate that arrogant interviewer. I feel bad that such a great man, who really cares about people, has to go through that kind of questioning!

Now the scared establishment, which realizes he is on the road to victory, tries to brush him aside--if he said he would ran as third many voters might skip him in primary! Twisted mind of these "journalists"...

rememer: register as Republican and find when the primary is! Primaries decide a winner next year!

  • Yeah, Terry Moron is the perfect name for this interviewer.

  • We love you RON...thank you so much for telling the truth!

  • Ron Paul....hero, intellectual, honesty and exactly what America needs.

  • "Theme song?"

    "War Pigs by Black Sabbath."

  • I'm goihg to go sing born free now...

  • Posted on Ron Paul Flix - DEFEATING THE MEDIA BLACKOUT SINCE 2007!

  • this guy is frickin' brilliant. How on earth can someone think otherwise?

  • @ONLYRonPaul1 If one studies history and finds out how delusional and ahistorical he is? That'd do it. Libertarians are just like communists. It's a purist idea that looks great on paper... but completely ignores human nature and human history.

  • Ron Paul is too intelligent for these questions. Ron Paul, 2012!

  • wouldn't it be nice to have an honest genius as president, as opposed to the lying dumb-asses we've been electing lately?

  • I feel honored to be voting for him.

  • I had to Google "Born Free". I don't think Ron was referring to the Kid Rock version of the song ;)

  • Democrats, Independents & other Parties Can register Republican So They Can Vote for Ron Paul in the Primaries Do It & Save our Nation.

  • @agnewraymond I registered Republican in California so I could vote for him. Now I live in WA and I get to go to the GOP Caucus on March 3rd. Fun times!

  • tho they may seem like dumbass questions, one has to remember that on yahoo! news there are many who are politically and economically illiterate. this is great as an intro, but still it'll probably go over the heads of many.

i also think that america has grown accustomed to and developed a taste 4 liars or soft peddlers or "make you feel good"ers... to them, this kind of straightforward honest talk is martian and distasteful

it'd be wonderful to see a reverse of the above trends thru RP!!!

  • The last questions were completely idiotic... what's your perfect Sunday?

  • Go get em RON Paul, fuck the scare tactics. Who will take care of us? I will take care of me and you take care of you, it's a 1000 times more efficient that way!!!

  • The Doc, ever the gentleman.

Check out the pause when asked 'WHEN did you know you wanted to be POTUS?'- question.

Because, THAT is not is ultimate goal.

While he's in it to WIN it ALL THE WAY, this time, his main focus as it has always been since 1970's, has been to CHANGE how 100yrs+ of brainwashed American populace view WHAT the Role of Govt ought to be!

More asinine questions from the woefully predictably irrelevant MSM.

  • @RosenKrantz666 Brainwashed, huh? Like you Ron-Bots aren't? Hilarious.

  • @Bartleby1701 there may be some brain-washed people that support Ron Paul for a variety of reasons. The difference is 100% of people that don't support him are brain-washed. The majority of his supporters would wipe the floor in a debate on any topic against the supporters of other candidates because the arguments cannot be defeated without lies and insult. Your sarcastic "hilarious" statement that followed your useless comment just proves that you can't actually argue anything he said.

  • @atraldreams

They only gave him the option of BlackBerry or iPhone in the debate if I remember correctly....

  • I was the one who hit the dislike button..

It was an accident I meant to press like.

How do I change it ??

  • @hbrhxrd12 Just click "Like." It changes your vote over.

  • RONNNNNNIE !

  • This is hilarious. He is asking bunch of meaningless questions to a highly intellectual person. End result? Ron Paul can't answer any of them. That is just so funny.

  • Ron Paul is a great man! He is honest and full of integrity! I would trust this man of peace to keep our country safe.

  • how can you not love Ron Paul man? you can't hate him even if you try(except for that Bill O'Reilly retard), can't find any inconsistencies in his 30 years of being in politics, doesn't talk bad about the other rep candidates and for Christ sake his favorite theme song is Born Free! my hero right there

  • I would crawl over broken glass and dead liberals bodies to vote for this man.

  • Elizabeth Warren...commie slapped. Ouch!

  • Those who want to vote for Ron and 'can't' because of registration should change registration. If they want him to win in the two party system, they need to adjust.

  • I wish this reporter would produce the treaty between the US and Israel. But, fact of business... One cannot produce something that doesn't exist. Since there is no treaty between the two, his point is moot. But hey, if I'm wrong on this and you can post a link to the treaty, reply to this comment and I'll eat my words. But, no one can so it looks like I'll be going hungry...

In summary: THERE IS NO TREATY BETWEEN THE U.S. AND ISRAEL.

  • @bigken61 THANK you. While Treaties ARE binding law and RP was wrong about them over all in his statement, the journalist implying we have a mutual defense treaty with Israel was just stupid.

  • Ron Paul is the only one in Washington that is smart enough to return the Constitution!

  • Born Free! I like that!

  • Thumbs up for Voluntarism!

  • I care about Israel [ ]

  • @joeblowmha - Well isn't that nice of you - how freakin' caring of you! Why don't you care about all the innocent people around the world including the men, women and children of Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt and Libya? Israel represents less than 4% of the world population, they don't deserve unilateral protection or foreign aid from anyone.

  • I love that Paul brought up that there is a division in the rich upper class of America. There are those who are rich through hard work and an honest business, and there are rich through scams, lies and dishonest business. I also love his implication of which rich type should be the one punished and which one should be left alone.

  • @vehilli Yes, that is a critical point that some in groups like OWS do not realize.

  • @WasabiMeal I know, if only someone could nail that message into their heads, you could have a huge amount of new support for Ron Paul. I generally like to classify the difference in the upper class between just the rich and the elite. The rich are wealthy citizens who made their wealth through honest business, and then the elite are the guys who are so wealthy it's sickening because of all the criminality behind that wealth. But i don't think my description improves any more understanding :(

  • @vehilli

It's easy. A LOT of people get rich off the government (i.e., taxpayers). RP wants to dramatically shrink government (ie. put a lot of $ back into the private sector). Therefore, the people who get rich will be forced to do so honestly. These people that don't understand the distinction between the wealthy beneficiaries of big government and the honest portion of the 1% (which, incidentally, starts at only 380K per year) scare me.

  • @vehilli I was also pleased that Paul brought up this point about the honestly wealthy vs. the dishonestly wealthy and which should be punished. I do wish Ron Paul would have mentioned the recent ABC news article that "Foreign Policy Experts Agree with Ron Paul's Controversial Foreign Policy". Those experts include Harvey Sapolsky, emeritus professor of public policy and organization at MIT and Christopher Preble, vice president for defense and foreign policy studies at the Cato Institute.

  • Damn! Ron Paul you always give us the best most sensible answers ever!!

  • who writes these crappy questions??? awesome answers to devil's advocate questions.

  • what the fuck do we owe israel???i dont get it....

  • @hiphopnpolitics

Well, brother, we owe Israel exactly what we owe the rest of the world....not a damn thing!

  • @hipposelect Nice! LOL!

  • Comment removed

  • @hipposelect we the people do not owe shit to anyone because we have not done anything but our Gov. and our Fed owe to us and the rest of the world. Best way for the to pay us all off is to go to hell and never come back.

  • OMG, this is the man we could have as president; instead the mainstream news and 2 parties keep pushing their superficial puppets. Come on Americans, wake up and choose the intellectual integrity and wisdom of this ethical leader, for REAL change and TRUE hope for all.

  • hey keep talking about roads omg!!!!!!! have you people ever seen state workers????? sleeping in that 65,000 pick up truck while their buddies in the state congress and senate give no bid contracts to companies blah blah blah the government is a fucking sham

  • @Skyhigh123100 Indeed! WUT ABUTT THUH RUDEZ?!!!!!! DERUP

  • ABC ftw!! Thanks for interviewing him.
