u can get some rediculously georgous pits at the pound... no papers, no babies, no bloody season:)  i did work release at the pound, and its vey true, the sweetest pit in the world will get put down before a crazy, bite everything moving chihuahua. There's just to many pits in the system... GO SAVE ONE!

Pit bulls are the number one most misunderstood dog in the world which leads them to be put in shelters more than any other breed. People need to ADOPT the ones that need a second chance. im guessing a blue fawn because they are the opposite color from the mom and dad. any other color would be blue,black,red nose/beige.Maybe white thats a rare color in all dogs but some of them if theyre white they are deaf (some)

I love pitbulls but if you've ever spent a day in an animal shelter you'd realize there are hundreds of thousands bred and euthanized every day because of overpopulation. If you really love dogs and loved the breed you'd RESCUE pitbulls instead of breeding them. Go volunteer at a shelter for a day and you'll see what I mean.

Consider rescuing a pit puppy or young pit (under 3) that deserves a chance who is temp. tested well with people and other animals. There are many WAITING for homes that are rescued and many that are never given the chance to be adopted. Please dont continue to breed (spay female after puppies are weaned please).

you paid $1,270 for a dog that was bred for a resessive trait? for a pit bull? for $1,270 you could have saved 100 pit bulls in need, you shouldnt go bragging about the fact that you are perpetuating the abuse of pit bulls across the country. Every time you buy a pit from a BYB like this or "breeder" you are sealing the death warrent for 100 pits in shelters/rescues.

I am a pitbull/animal supporter. I support shelter adoption. First time pit owners and for families with small kids are better off bying a pup from a responsible breeder.They have a right to know the dogs background. I myself adopted 4 pits from the shelter,but I 'm experianced with pits and large breeds. I know the character. $1,270 is about right for a well bred pit. Poodles cost just as much. I feel people have the right to choose. They all need homes. Most shelters don't offer pits. No abuse
