@knnbccbfk its a wild animal and would be unfair to keep it in captivity. It would only , sadly die either way.

@IcePrincess619 HELLO, NO I DIDN'T GET AN ANSWER, BUT IN ANOTHER VIDEO SHOWING THE SAME SCENE THE SPEAKER SAID THE CUB DIED. WHAT A SENSELESS THING TO DO, THAT CUB COULD HAVE BEEN SAVED, AND AT LEAST LIVED IN CAPTIVITY.

Just wondering, one series you followed the Marsh Pride with Simba as the head of the pride, then when you came back to them, Notch was the head. Did Notch kill Simba? When a takeover happens, more often than not, does the current male lion get killed by the invading male, or chased away?

@jetdean Tamu lost one of her 4 cubs to a lion attack (saw in series) to my knowledge another cub died after the filming and 2 male cubs survived as for Tamu no one has seen her after she left her adult cubs.

I you go to the Jackson's Blog you'll see pictures of Sala and Cheza tooks in November 2009. They are powerful and strong lions. Beautiful animals ! When you see the size of the two cousins, here and now, the difference it's amazing !!

Yes after this, they both left that pride and started their own together and still rule it as far as we know.

I could have gone without seeing the injured cub....but that's reality, I know. Anyway, thanks for these updates, the lions are all so beautiful. My heart hurts. Secretly I hope the BCD crew euthanized the cub instead of leaving him to the harsh elements. Thanks.

The cub was killed by an another predator, during the night, I think : Simon tell it in his narration. And the BBC crew never can interfere. In this case only the park authorities could be. The first time I saw the injured little baby it was so hard for me too And evertime I watch the video I can't see this part.

What a terribly and sad tragedy with the young cub badly injured and live alone by the pride..

@armidalicorne It is very sad indeed! Thats the rule survival of the fittest! That Little one was probably dead within 24hours though, from a predator without the Prides protection it would have been a fairly swift death which brings a little comfort, as it would have been worse off starving & incapacitated!
