Darrell, I work in an extremely busy public environment and was just discussing with a co-worker how people are not just on edge, but ferociously demanding, snatching and grabbing, cursing and swearing if they don't get their way. They push past the feeble and elderly, looking on them with contempt. When I go to work now, I feel like I've been dropped in the middle of a shark tank! Things just seem to be ramping up in the spiritual realm and I can feel it!

I just want to let you know that number 8 is wrong.Thats not how it happened at all. I watched the video. The 2 females were drunk and gave the cashier fake money. It's amazing what you do in your spare time when you forget to pay the cable/internet bill. Last month I was without it for about 5 days, and yes I did read my bible. I actually read Revelations. I still got on the internet with my phone, nothing fancy though. I don't watch much TV at all---maybe once or twice a week at the most (and that's just one show). Are you saying you would rather have a short time of so called happiness rather than a eternity of real happiness? The joy that comes from God is much greater than the so called joy of self gratification and sinful desires. God doesn't not tell us to not do things to be a party pooper. He does it to protect us.

@marssnw First of all, you fail to answer the question. Second, I'm not against God in any way, but some things are frustrating and frankly don't make much sense. Basically, what your saying here is that we are to live a miserable boring life so that we can live in eternal happiness when we die. I'm all for heaven and eternal happiness and all, but I have no desire to be miserable my whole earthly life. I've already spent over half my life being miserable, and that's far too long.

@JMFSpike First of all, what question? Second, You do sound like you are against God when you say you would rather sin than follow Jesus. The word repentance means to turn away from your sin. If you do not turn from your sin then there is no salvation. Faith and repentance go hand and hand. You can not have one without the other. Matthew 7:21 says just that. Trust me following Christ is far from boring. My life was more boring before God came into my life and freed me from drugs and alcohol

I've always been a very straight-edge kind of guy. I'm very very far away from being perfect, and I'm not saying I'm the best example of a good Christian, but I do my best. The question was, how are we suppose to avoid all the worldly things when we live in this world? Why does it seem as though every little thing is a sin?

@THERAPTURECOMES You said it bro. We raised our own cattle, chickens, turkeys, pigs, horses and so many other animals plus our garden was over 1 acre. We raised most of our own food then. I miss those days. We would go fishing with our hands to catch some big catfish. Guns were a way of life for us then. I grew up on 2,000 acres and loved every minute of it.
