India have always eye Nepal. They have always tried to make Nepal as part of India. During Mahabharata war, the Indians encroached into the Himalayas and took many Nepal territory. Kirat armies led by King Yalamber and King Bhagadatta fought back the invaders but eventually lose the ground because the Indians were too large in numbers. I do not know about other Nepalese but Kiratis are ready to sacrifice their lives again for the protection of Nepal from Indian invasion.

Indians have always encroached Nepali land more than once. It's just that Nepali government is a tool of Indian government that they do not want to take action.
