I know all about this and I feel for you! I recently had to have blood drawn and I knew that it was ridiculous but my body didn't agree it is a phisical reaction to an assault on the body! I think you did amazingly!

My fear of needles is extreme...after a bad experience in my younger years ive gotten to where i cannot stand them..or even be around them..i went to join the army..dropped out because of a blood test..same with college..this fear has kept me from doing so many things..and now that im pregnant i have to get over this fear somehow..because this isnt something that i can hide from any longer

for me, if I look at the needle when I'm taking needle, it hurts less.

If I don't look at it, then it hurts more lol

LOL this made me laugh but only because I relate 110%.....I can't believe that I get this bad when it comes to getting shots...I think I might be better when it comes to getting blood drawn out but when I need a shot I PANIC and have fainted in the past! Worst thing is that I WANT to get into a medical career as a nurse and need to find a way to get over my fear!

I am scared of needles, but im not sure if its a phobia. Today i got a flu shot, and the time i really got freaked out was when the nurse was preparing the syringe and disenfecting my butt, I started crying , sweating and got all nervous. And the worst part is... i need two more!! ;(
