  • By any chance do you have/remember the # for that second pair? Looked like tortoise shell which i love :>

  • no typo becasue both pairs were made at the same time, they were made wrong. The reason the color came off of the other pair, i was told was because the frames they use, the coloring is in a shell that covers the frame, not in the plastic itself. Cheap way of coloring the frames. sometimes it just happens. bottom line you get what you pay for. Lesson learned Would rather pay a little bit more and know I can take them back locally if i have any issues.

  • i really like the rimless pair you got what is the lens shape number 4 that pair?

  • thanks- both my husband i wear glasses and they are very expensive- usually 100-300 a pop

  • have they broken yet?

  • @Gabester64 Nope, None of them have. I wear my red pair alot cause I like them the most. My dog even got ahold of them! and they are good as new. No scratches or anything. I know my other glasses that were $200+ broke within 6 months..... So I LOVE THESE GLASSES, might buy a few more to!!!! lol

  • I have a complicated prescription and usually it costs me about $800.00 for new eyeglasses and frames..i got a new pair from Zenni for about $97.00..I was impressed. I do not have the distortion either that the expensive glasses from my local optician was causing.

  • buyer beware is all I have to say, good luck if you can't see out of them, what a pain

  • @DejavuCTFXC Thanks for your comment, have you had tried them before??? you making this comment out of personal experience?? I brought them all to my eye doctor and they checked to make sure they were the right perscription. If they were not then I would have gotten my money back thank you.

  • @djtfst1984 bought two pair from them, one pair had the lens in backwards, right in left side, left in right side. The other pair i took to a place in the mall to adjust becuase they did not fit, the color started to peel off after that. Junk

  • @DejavuCTFXC maybe you made a typo while filling in your order. And as I said in my video you need to bring them in to get adjusted to fit your face. About the paint peeling off... not sure what to tell ya. I still wear mine to this date and haven't had any problems with the color coming off.

  • Wow. You are so beautiful!

  • @exa0777 Thanks you!!!!! Your sweet!!!!

  • Great video! I personally like the first pair you had on the most, but they all look great on you. Good job in your selection of frames.

  • Thanks for the review! I've been considering online glasses, and I'm glad to see you were able to get several pairs you like.

  • Thank you very much for posting this review. I just heard about Zenni and I wasn't sure if I should order from there. Thanks for taking the time for posting this, you helped me make a decision :)

  • I have used Zenni in the past and am very happy with their service and products. I have health insurance that includes a program for $15 eye exams annually. I asked for the prescription and got it. I then ordered from Zenni and in less than 2 weeks I had my glasses for an unbelievable low price. These glasses are higher quality than the $200 + pair I previously used. I believe the glasses are manufactured overseas, so if that is an issue, shop elsewhere. I will buy from them again.

  • @yuexingao hmmmm... already then. Thanks soooo much for you comment! By the way, they are better than my $200 Target glasses... Just because they don't have a name brand on them doesn't mean they are not good. And i'm trying to help others who are intrested in these but aren't sure about them. Sorry If you have a problem with that.

  • @djtfst1984 Thanks for the review! I have ordered from them for relatives before and now I'm ordering a couple of pairs for myself. What do you mean by adjusting glasses? Over here we just give the lens values e.g. -2.50, choose the frame, you get the glasses and so be it.

  • @karkariz84 oh! Its hard to explain... they make sure they are not to tight around your temples and head. They take them in back, heat up the metal and bend them so they fit just right. A machine does it. lol Sorry I'm not really sure how to explain it.

  • Yes you can get nicer glasses from the eye doctor but, they are not THAT much nicer. The markup on eye wear is unbelievable. Designer frames can be sold to up to 1000% over cost!. They are at the top of the list for ANY retail products as far as markups. I can get one pair at the doctor for 150 bucks or I can get 5-7 different unique pairs online for that price. Even if they aren't as nice at that price it makes them almost disposable.

  • GRACIAS!

  • I think your review was very good and that you are a polite person. I look forward to wearing my new Zenni glasses when they get here. I only need readers but was tired of taking them off all of the time to walk around...so 50$ for some glasses with progressive lenses seemed very reasonable to me.

  • Also try coastal. Both are good.

  • Buy glasses over the internet and take them to your Doctor to check and adjust for Free. Go to your Doctor so they can measure your PD, for Free. Don't know what line of work you are in but there is no such thing as Free. You not only wasted A Doctor's time but also his Staff's time. Time that could have cost the Doctor a patient or a sale for his office. Do you work for Free??

  • @realitycheck833 Wow, maybe you should also know that When I did go to my eye Doctor I asked her, " how much do you charge to adjust glasses, I have THREE pair of them that need to be adjusted.... AND I CAN PAY YOU FOR YOUR TIME!!!!!! the rep behind the counter said she can just do it for FREE cause i'm a CUSTOMER! who has spent over $500 at that store buying glasses over the past few years. And also it takes 30 seconds to adjust them. And I was the ONLY CUSTOMER in the store. But thanks!!!!!!

  • @realitycheck833 A lot of businesses provide free services for customers, it helps their business to get people in the door. Did you miss the part where she said she purchased replacement nose pads too? And its likely that they the adjustments are not done by the doctor, they are done by a paid tech.

  • @kayleah Please take a class in business 101!!

  • Awesome site, incredibly cheap prescription glasses and sunglasses, some frames are flimsy but last a while. Takes 3 weeks for arrive usually and you have many options to choose from in regards to lens index and features.

  • how many glasses do you need??????

  • @ruptip Does it matter? I can have as many as I want. I like wearing a different pair once in awhile. Thats like asking someone how many pairs of shoes, or pants or shirts they need. Not a very good question. But thanks for the comment!!!!!!

  • @djtfst1984 wasteful ;/ just cuz it's cheap doesn't mean everyone should buy a ton.. sorry I'm kind of a environmentally minded person.

  • I just recently bought a pair of glasses with progressive lenses that came with brown tinting and the added anti-reflective coating. The prescription was dead on and my wife and I were so impressed that we've just ordered a couple more pairs.

I was actually surprised when I found out that some of my co-workers knew about ordering online.

    For now I'm sold.

  • Letting a internet company make your lenses for your glasses is plain ignorant. Glasses are a medical device and a professional in person should do all the work while fitting the patient before and after lenses the are made in to the frame to check the work. But, buying shoes online is a good thing though.

  • @Pivo000 LOL! Glasses aren't fitted. I think your thinking about contact lenses. And the perscription your filling out actaully gets sent over to a manufacture, just like if you were to order from ANY optical store. The reason they are cheap is because there is no "store" that has the glasses on display and no people to pay behind a counter.... and a few other reasons. They are actaully better quality then my $300 frames from Target! But thanks for the IGNORANT comment!!!!!

  • @djtfst1984

Yes, glasses today are fitted in somewhat. Lenscrafters has a program where they take a photo of your face and use certain points of your face to ensure that the glasses you choose will fit.

  • @jreily88 Well thats great! But my glasses fit me just fine and I saved $100 of dollars. I'm not going to spend an extra $300 for some program to fit glasses for me. But thanks for the comment!!!!

  • @djtfst1984

Good point, but of course the program that lenscrafters uses gets the measurements much more accurate than zenni optical does, and not only that, but the majority of people say that the quality of zenni optical glasses is not very good, which is why they are so cheap. In my opinion, if you are going to get glasses from them, just get some plain, non-prescription ones. In my opinion, prescription lenses should only be bought at an authorized glasses store.

  • @jreily88 My glasses are better quality than the $200 frames I got from Target Optical. AND the $400 frames I got from white bear eye clinic in my hometown. AND BY THE WAY this is a REVIEW for people who want to know a little about the glasses before they buy! Not for people like YOU to leave negative comments!!! I was just trying to be NICE when I posted this review!!! Maybe you should post a negtaive comment reivew instead of leaving them on my POSTIVE review!!!!

  • @djtfst1984 Actually glasses are fitted. Especially when dealing with a multi-focal lens such as a progressive lens that requires a number of measurements. Any individual that purchases a Progressive lens via this website is doing a big disservice to themselves. The quality of eyewear you purchased from this website is Nothing in comparison to a pair purchased from a reputable eyecare facility. Without a Doubt!!!!!!

  • @Pivo000 Your an idiot that's what your prescription is for and these guys ARE professionals they make prescription glasses for a living

  • I just ordered 2 pair. I almost bought a pair of Ray Ban glasses locally for $420.00 before discovering Zenni Optical a few days ago.

  • I just got told by a zenni representative to "GO TO HELL" and then was hung up on. Dont order from this company! Worst experience ever!

  • @keatonkustler I have heard a few complaints about the Customer service. I called them before and had no problems at all. Maybe that person was planning on quitting that day! lol

  • @keatonkustler I just ordered glasses from Zenni and I've already gotten compliments on how cute they are by my kids! They are perfect as far as my vision goes, and I had choices to have non-glare, bi-focal, graduating bi-focal, and they offered clip-on sunglasses to fit each pair for only $4.95!! You can't get clip-ons anywhere for less than $10-20 bucks!! They sent an email questioning my THICK prescription - were very thorough and very nice - I recommend Zenni!

  • thanks for posting a review :)

  • Fabulous review, thanks for sharing your experience. I ordered from zenni about a week ago and I'm waiting with baited breath for them to arrive, so it's great to hear from someone who has tried them. I adore the red frames!
