omg thank you so much! i've wanted to learn this one for a while now, it's a great tune. thanks again, i can't wait to show my uncle he's gonna piss himself
@yourmusicguru i just gave this a run (no pun intended) on line6 spider iv that I just picked up. Set on clean, reverb and echo...it sounded very close.
I think you can get good and bad guitars no matter how much you spend. This Squier was pretty good. My Mexican Tele is awesome. I've also picked up a $1500 Strat in the store and though, 'meh'....
One thing I've noticed in the newest Fenders is that the neck wood seems to shrink. In the stores, I can feel the fret ends when I run my hands down the edges of the neck. Maybe they're not drying the wood properly?
What do you think about the mexican strats cause all the people at guitar center tell me the americans are so much better but I think they are just as good.
are you using an ordinary camcorder to record the visual , reason i ask is koz the quality is coming across good , i want to put some bits on you tube , i have a great sound set up for guitar and vocals , but i cant find a device to record the sound with quality , even with an expensive camcorder ,,, would be great if you could tell me this ,,, regards ,, jim

what do you have running besides delay?
yourmusicguru 8 months ago
@yourmusicguru
Reverb and a bit of chorus. I usually run some compressor when I play clean tones.

@jimfish42
It's just a Creative Labs IM Pro (VF0410) webcam. I don't even record at the highest resolution (I use 32x240).
It may be that you're not throwing enough light on yourself. I have a 60 watt bulb sitting about 2 feet away from me.

Really sweet...I hope to get this down..even though it appears "simple", it will take lots of work..beautiful tone!

The D pedal note is it picked in 16ths or triplets or what???
paddy9i99 1 year ago
@paddy9i99
16ths. The delay notes mix in to make it sound like triples.
