Ok when arthas says "the light will abandoned you just as it did me" He means it will leave you eventually willingly or forcefully. Arthas still had the light inside of him, but thats no longer arthas. Its just the lich king, but its mostly ner'zhul arthas is a faded memory in the back of ner'zhul. so arthas has the light ner'zhul dosent.

idiots shadowmourne's model for it's creation was light's vengeance his warhammer when he was a paladin then it was fed with 1000 souls of scrouge minions and blood infused then forst infused and unholy infused and finally empowered or fused with fifty frostshadow shards this was crafted by the ashen verdict not copied from frostmourne not it's reamains but a weapon crafted by the verdict.

Thats impossible considering Shadowmourne is forged from the remnants of Frostmourne. Meaning you have to destroy Frostmourne to create Shadowmourne.
