"For me, Quest for Peace is the most personal Superman of the entire series. It directly reflects what Superman should be, and what he should be doing."
--Christopher Reeve
"Except for fools and madmen, everyone knows that nuclear war would he an unprecedented Human catastrophe."
--Carl Sagan

"I had seen a television show in Boston. Children were talking about what it is like to grow up in the ATOMIC age. At the same time, people were saying that I had the attention of the kids and that I should take advantage of that. Meanwhile, Warner Brothers was saying 'let's do it,' so I said, OK, here's a way to consider this topic. needed the motivation to really want to play Superman again."
--Christopher Reeve, on why he co-created The Quest for Peace
"My own country, South Africa, gave up its nuclear arsenal in the 1990’s, realizing it was better off without these weapons. Around the same time, the newly independent states of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine voluntarily relinquished their nuclear arms ... Global stockpiles have dropped from 68,000 warheads at the height of the Cold War to 20,000 today."
--Desmond Tutu, July 3, 2011
... Reeve would be proud -- I bet Tutu doesN'T give a fuck about The Quest for Peace's TRIVIAL flaws ...
"Incredibly, here in the 21st century, some people still appear to believe that nuclear weapons have a rational combat role. This idea must be stamped out completely before it can grow further."

... and thank God Reeve did his best to stamp out that retarded idea ...
Your trick of darkening the footage during the fight to hide the quality changes from Q4P and Returns worked very well. The only problem with it was the high contrast in difference between the beginning of the fight and the end. I'd either throw in some footage of the sun being blocked out by clouds, or better footage of a storm coming in, but other wise great job. I also think some music at the end where you see the newspaper would help, something more loud and dramatic
Oh yeah, & also keep in mind that the entire fight seen from beginning 2 end wothout it having 2 b split into 2 parts since u cant upload more than 10 minutes does start out dark, & ends dark, as the added storm effects are only in the Metropolis scenes. I didnt want 2 add a storm into every other location, because than that would be kind of coincidental 4 there 2 be a storm wherever Nuclear Man goes. & yes, I would like 2 find some more storm footage 4 the second edition of this cut.
pelicula olvidada hasta por Reeve..... pero grato verlo

@SupermanRecut well you should be able to do 15 minutes actually, and you could make it so the storm is caused by N man...
Sydpart2 1 year ago
@Sydpart2 15 mins not allowed, already tried. I do like ur idea of having N Man cause the storm, so I have a year 2 think up how I could do that.
