and then I realized it was a sign of your failure.

You know, I actually thought about whether or not "laffed" is a word, but then I realized that that whole comment is you trying to make yourself feel better about your miserable existence by putting people down. You see "mahe" instead of "make" is an acceptable mistake. "Laffed" instead of "laughed" is not.
