The only thing that bothers me about this whole plot is that killer whales were never hunted this way unless they were killing the orcas because when they kill a bigger whale the orcas rip into the carcass and destroy it. Whaling is horrible and cruel but truely killer whales didn't suffer from it as much as the bigger baleen whales. Spot is awesome. Orcas rule and I love this cartoon too much for words.

The orcas in Pebble and the Penguin were much better animated if you're ever interested. They aren't nearly as cute as sweet little Spot but they are much more accurate. Same with the orcas in Happy Feet.
