  • Stop fucking saying core, there's nothing core about this song. It is really fucking good though

  • core core CORE CORE OMG DIE

  • Let us not forget Applecore... ftw

  • Soothing

  • not death metal. not bad though.

  • If this is death metal wheres the death part? this just sounds like tool

  • nothing core about this at all lamecore mayb

  • Progressive as Shit man I love it. They sound a lot like Porcupine Tree in a darker tone. And Supersaiayin666 I agree I hear a lot of Maynard in the song. Just fucking Awesome.

  • sounds a little like Tool

  • stop adding the word "core" with every word in the dictionary. fuck, there's only Grindcore, Deathcore, Metalcore, & Hardcore Punk & im not so fond of 'em. honestly Mallcore? Crunkcore?Nitendocore? Mathcore? fuck man. thats honestly redundant

  • @PikachusCorpse, you forgot buttercore

  • this is deathmetal. lol

  • @Thecheckerchex,

Death Progressive Metal I think is a more accurate definition of this band.

  • Singer reminds me a tad of Waylon (Mushroomhead, 3 Quarters Dead)

  • Reminds me more of Petrychor than any other band. If you like this you should give them a listen. :)

Btw this is not mallcore :P

  • Nicecore bandcore, Icore likecore itcore!

  • wow this is amazing!!!!!

  • mallcore sounds gay, people need to stop making subgenres for subgenres before each band has their own "genre"

  • @dickparton they can only do it if we aknowledge their ability to do so haha

  • @dickparton These guys have a lot of toolcore influences over top of their 10yearscore base sound. If they threw in some aperfectcirclecore to round out their style, they'd have an incredibly diverse sound.

  • this... is not metal. it's not bad, but it's not metal.

  • Well... this sounds unexpectedly good.

  • @Zolrak666 My words exactly.

  • deep and elegant music!!

  • wow the intro sounds like post metal in a way.

  • People saying this sounds like Opeth only demonstrate their own lack of influences to draw comparisons from. It has as much in common with Opeth as it does a hundred other bands, but crucially it has an element of originality.

  • This is ingenious, very much an own sound. Brilliant!!

  • Mysterious, very cool

  • Settle down dude. And incidentally, this does'nt sound like Opeth. Opeth has a better drummer.

  • why is it that nearly EVERY FUCKING VIDEO has people posting arguments about how stupid labeling is. take them for what they are. a label is simply there to help organize. if im looking for music that sounds like technical death metal, for example, it sure saves a lot of time wading thru emofag shit like this monkey jizz non metal bitch shit. i make it a point to support all metal, whether i like it or not, but WTF is THIS bullshit. who ever labeled this as metal kind shoud commit seppaku

  • @boonskety oh ok. thanks for setting me straight there you faggoty emo.

  • Old Man Voice: "This sounds like Shit!!!"

  • Opeth sounds a lot like this. Oh wait...

  • its allright melodic yes but death metal no.

  • at last something to look into.

  • amazing

  • What the fuck is mallcore?

  • @schecter26guitarist it some sort of label that "true metalheads" stick to all those mainstream new bands that may soudn alittle bit pop, catchy or melodic they state bands like in flames, soilwork, sonic syndicate are mallcore mallcore is like pop or comercial sellout metal in my opion i love mallcore :D

  • @adan6661 Ohh I see. Just another subgenre..

  • @schecter26guitarist mallcore is the "m" word of metal. Mallcore is the worst thing you can call metal. It isn't really a sub-genre, it is a curse word. Bands called mallcore tend to use pop chord progressions in their songs and mix metalcore elements, like extended breakdowns and screaming, with Blink-182 style vocal harmonies. I personally think the word mallcore stems from the fact that it is so accessible, it could be played in a mall.

  • @jsteele07189 That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure. Thanks. I'm not quite sure how this is mallcore though. I guess people just have to put a label on it somehow.

  • @schecter26guitarist you know, even if this were metal, i wouldn't really call it mallcore.

  • what the fuck is mall metal, jesus bloddy hell. STOP WITH THE LABELING

  • @jessedyck1 labeling is important.

  • @jsteele07189

Not if every person makes up their own sub-genre, it's bullshit, especially when they argue if its melodic, or progressive, or technical, deathcore, death metal, grindcore, djent, fucking any word- core.. most of these sub- genres collide into eachother, its really damn annoying. labeling is for elitist snobs.

  • @jsteele07189 it gets to the point where people categorize their band into progressive djent, with technical tool influences, black grind metal, hardcore d-beats and funk jazz.

Is that what you were looking for?

  • alright i guess... dont like the fry screaming though.

  • same band...new name:

    myspace/aterminalsun

  • they were progressive metalcore, had a name change and went mallcore

  • Who are you talking about? The main dude from the band reformed the line-up under the name "A Terminal Sun" & they sound nothing like mallcore.

  • @ModernRebellion last time I heard them they reminded me of darkest hour and other shitty bands
