Genius class people are often quite child-like and naive. They live on another planet and not really bothered with petty, mundane issues. Mozart, Einstein, etc are examples. It looks like Dr. Kao did not make any money from his 27 inventions; and he gave away all of the $500,000 of his Japan Prize to Yale. I saw their present kitchen, a cramped basic facility. So great yet so humble. His children Simon and Amanda should be very proud of having a dad like him. Bless!!
