@igottagiveanaudition what is this universal obsession with who is better, prettier, smarter? vocalists and musicians excel in different dimensions. as the mother of two musicians, I was able to observe firsthand, musicians (and vocalists) excel in different dimensions. Temperature, height, speed can be compared by absolute numbers. Musical talent not so much.

Temperature, speed, length, even earned run average can be measured by absolutes. Musical talent more subjective. Scientifically observed by brain imaging: what stimulates one person's pleasure points doesn't do it for the next person. Better world if people would just say what they like (or don't like).
